STILL READ THE WARNING: USE AT OWN RISK. USE AT OWN RISK!!!
***WARNING***AS THIS DEALS WITH DELETING LOOT PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE POST. All warnings for this mod are in here. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.***WARNING***
NEW FUNCTION: sell all BoP items below a certain ilvl threshold you set. ****WARNING**** this will sell items you may want kept, YOU"VE BEEN WARNED. Can add any items you want kept to your keep list and they won't be sold. ****WARNING*****
MOUSE FUNCTIONS:
ctrl+alt+LEFT click = add to blacklist
alt+ctrl+RIGHT click = add to sell list
New option to enable mouse Functions:
/lwiw mouseclicks
Also in the GUI.
****WARNING**** PLEASE READ IF YOU USE THE DELETE FEATURE it will NOT ask for conformation. You've been warned. (ie i add the zg quest items that are epic to it because you can't sell the item nor the turn in). I'm just warning. ***WARNING***
Now i've tested it for days now and it has never deleted the wrong thing. I have noticed that if you loot too fast (ie 1 mob than a second before you've fully finished looting) it won't always delete a looted deletable item, but will the next time you loot a deletable item. I think this boils down to looting too fast and the variable that is set that you looted a blacklisted item is reset.
I wanted an addon that would skip certain items that I didn't want to loot, especially when I was farming a specific area (ie strat for the mount). I had a mod that would delete grey items, but not anything higher.
Also, this mod outside a group/raid will AUTO loot BoP items.
Turn off auto loot otherwise this won't work (it will let you know). This will auto loot everything (even BoP items) that aren't in your Blacklist. When you are in a group/raid it will autoloot everything except BoP/Blacklist items. You can change this, although it is not recommended, and
***WARNING***I am not responsible if you enable looting BoP in group/raids and you loose DKP or are labled a ninja. ***WARNING***
LootWhatIWant Mod
usage /lwiw -- prints help
/lwiw add [item] -- add an item to the blacklist to not loot, must be in proper item format (ie shift click after the word add). Can add multiple items per command.
/lwiw remove [item] -- remove an item from the blacklist, must be in proper item format (ie shift click after the word add). Can add multiple items per command.
/lwiw keep [item] -- add item to your keep list (will never be sold). Have to remove in GUI.
/lwiw enable -- enable this addon
/lwiw disable -- disable this addon
/lwiw gui -- GUI
/lwiw instance -- toggle auto looting while in group for the specific instance you are currently zoned into. IE if standing in ZG, this will enable auto looting when in ZG only. ***WARNING***if you enable this, and loot a BoP item automatically, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE. ***WARNING***
/lwiw world -- toggle auto looting while in group when not in an instance.***WARNING***if you enable this, and loot a BoP item automatically, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE. ***WARNING***
/lwiw deleteallgrays -- delete all grays looted, no matter if in blacklist or not.
/lwiw deletesomegrays # -- delete grays that are less then the # you enter in value. (ie if an item stacks 20 and each is worth 15s, even if you have 1 in your bag, LWIW values it as 3g instead of 15s).
/lwiw delete true/false -- enables/disables looting then deleting items in your blacklist. Disabled by default. Have tested as much as I can, Use this at YOUR own risk.
/lwiw sellingoptions -- toggles selling/trash options within this mod.
/lwiw sell [item] -- add a non grey item to your auto sell list.
OK to all the warnings, if your in a group and group loot is enable or master looter, you won't be able to auto loot the quality of items that the Raid Leader has set it to. IE if on Common (green) anything green or higher quality you shouldn't be able to auto loot anyways.

Does this addon work similarly to Karni's Crap Filter I can't quite figure out if it offers similar features from the details page?

I'm also thinking of removing the tracking feature, as I think more and more about it.

I've disabled the Wow autoloot function and just use /lwiw disableallgrays now. Works fine so far Can you give us an option (disabled by default) to turn off the messages which item was deleted when using the disableallgrays option? Tia, highend |

BTW I am thinking of somehow transfering the blacklist from 1 toon to another (the reason I didn't make the blacklist global was if you have a lower level alt you might not want to delete those mana drinks, but on a higher level farming in that area you might, for example) but was looking to see if anyone else would like this.
EDIT: but if i do this it would probably have to reddo blacklists, or maybe a 1 time command to transfer the toons blacklist.

If you want a few reasons for this: 1. is ignoring instead of deleting from the blacklist 2. I didn't want to search through your entire inventory after every single loot, this way it only loops through when you actually loot something on your blacklist. 3. Also, if autoloot from blizz is on, this couldn't loot all BoP items on a corpse (perhaps 1?), and as I farm raid instances/heroic instances where bosses have 2-5 BoP items I'd rather have it loot all BoP items than 1. 4. ??? 5. Profit!! 6. I'm sure there are a few more reasons, but again no you can't leave on Blizz's autoloot system.

Hi,
isn't it possible to leave autoloot (in wow) on and let Lwiw delete all items on the blacklist after the corpse was looted? I tried it this way: /lwiw delete Addon message: Will auto delete items from your blacklist after looting /lwiw add [Thick Fur Clothing Scraps] /lwiw add [Fur Clothing Scraps] Killed the next mob, auto looted, got 1 x [Thick Fur Clothing Scraps]. Killed another mob, got the next one of it but Lwiw still does not delete any of them. Regards, highend |

Just wanted to provide feedback about the deleteallgrays feature. Simply put: it works ;-) I've been testing it for the last week and haven't encountered any weird or unwanted behavior. I'll get back to you if I ever manage to break it but so far it looks rock soild.

Re: Wow! Thank You!
I'll think about greens/blues (but again there is no differeation if you have pieces of gear in your bag, and no I want to keep this as simple as possible,, and to add a whitelist would complicate it ever more, as it is, it's gotten a tad bigger then I originally intended, that said, the things in it I'm very happy about and feel it really adds to this addon, especially the GUI really helps with looking at the blacklist/trackinglist (at least for me)) Anyways, if others requested greens, I might be convinced to add it, and could show you how to add whites, but I would never include whites in the published code, as stated above too many important items are flagged white, as it is the code to deleteallgrays was much complicated, as the API calls for certain items in your bags don't return the color code, so you have to get the item number and make another API call. Grand scheme of things not a huge issue, and now that the code is in there, wouldn't be hard to add greens/blues/whites. Anyways, i tend to ramble alot. So I'll keep the greens in mind. Whites are out (but could be convinced to send you a pastybin on the code to add, which you would have to add on every update to delete all whites, but I make no guarantee's it'll work like you want, and it wont delete soemthing important). and blues are iffy since people do wear blues alot (well until they get H Badge gear, but still). |
