OrkoUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.0
by: Orko [More]

Made on 1920X1080 Resolution - Can be modified for other sizes via Plugin Menu

I have been working on this addon since 2009. Now it is set up in ElvUI (not included) and as of V10 all graphics can be re-sized and also re-colored.
There are two layouts included with this. Version 1 is a more graphical layout with all the art on the bottom of the screen.
Version 2 is a more minimalistic layout which is what I personally use. More suited for healers or if you want to immerse yourself in the world!

  • You must also install ElvUI Retail version as it is required for this addon to work.
  • ElvUI Retail Version - LINK

  • Masque - Now included with custom buttons for OrkoUI
  • SimpleRareElite - Now included and working as of Shadowlands
  • Skada - Now included

  • Just copy the INTERFACE folder into your World of Warcraft Retail installation folder.
  • I recommend skipping the ELVUI Installation Process by pressing Continue until it is finished.
  • The OrkoUI Layout Install will run after the ElvUI Installer is complete.
  • Select Version 1 or Version 2 layouts.

Note: As of now, you can NOT freely swap between the two layouts and keep changes you make to them. I will fix this some day when I have time.
I do not get donations or get paid for this so any requests or fixes will happen when I feel like it.

Enjoy!

v10 5/7/2022
New overhaul of code and included two layouts.
Version 1 Layout is a graphical style
Version 2 Layout is a minimalistic style
All frames on both versions can be adjusted in size and position and color!
Still need to install a way to save custom panel sizes in case you flip to a different layout version

Complete port to ElvUI. Now uses ElvUI layout installer to make the installation smooth. No more WTF folder issues. Can also use the TukUI Client to install.

v8 Updated ( 8-8-17)

Please dont include ElvUI.

Hello,

please don't include ElvUI in your download package. It should only be available at: https://www.tukui.org

See the License: https://git.tukui.org/elvui/elvui/bl...UI/LICENSE.txt

Let me know of any issues. My characters are not in Legion or raids yet. Also mostly play Druid and paladin. So there maybe things needed for other classes. I am working on making more classes to get this fixed up.

Also, I would like to make my UI something more professional. If anyone has coding experience and would like to tackle this, please contact me.

This is currently how it looks, I just finished getting everything resized to fit correctly. All that is left is the chat box.

Edit: Also I apparently forgot the cast bar which is right under my portrait and the dot timers which are under the target portrait. The loot box is wonky too but I can live with that.
You can try changing the UI Scale some, that might help. The panels are not lining up and are too wide as well. I will try and see if I can find a way to autoscale the UI to fit all resolutions but afraid that will have to be done in lua

The chat frame size is handled through KgPanels scripting to fit inside the left panel. I tried to make it so it would be automatically sized and placed where I wanted it. If it is an issue I can change it or you can remove the scripting in Panel 1 and do it yourself.

The Unitframes can be moved with the /stuf command.

Just toggle the frame drag on top.

The UI was made on a 1600x900 resolution. It may not work correctly on larger or smaller screens.

Please let me know the resolutions you are using and if it is working for you. If not, I guess I am going to be learned to code .lua so I can remake this UI better.

For the most part, it works really well for me.

however - looking at your screens, it looks like just 1 monitor. I have 3. (5760x1080)

The player panel, pet panel, chat window, and a few other things are on the FAR left. The Docking station bar thing just pops up in the middle of the screen with nothing on it, so I had to manipulate those.

I probably spent 30 minutes trying to get it all reset for me.

None of which is a big deal - I expected I would have to do a lot of customizing and moving around of panels and what not. Still trying to figure out all of them.

Yeah, I only have a laptop so its not configured for three screens.

I am working on fixing a lot of things, currently uploaded it cause a friend wanted it. Ill push another update soon. Everything should be corrected on it then.
Very nice. Looking forward to it!

It is a sound that plays when you get a debuff. It can be turned off with Raven.

As a tank, I like to hear when I get debuffs

Still working on next update. Trying to do something different with Raid Frames.

wow! really! That is so cool I like your UI a lot too. I wish I knew how to make one that well. Thanks for the kind words though. I know there are some issues right now with mine and still working on making it more healer friendly, since I mostly tank. I will continue to improve and update this.
