BlkUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.3B
by: Blacksad [More]

RESOLUTION: 1920X1080

A sleek looking, minimalist, all purpose Rogue UI.

Everything is set to track buffs/debuffs/procs/CD times in PvE and should require next to no setup.

Although this is set up to be Rogue specific, you can simply use any character class.

For PvP target defensive cooldowns are tracked via Weakauras, and personal CC abilities via icons above nameplates.

Let me know if you have any questions.

(Ctrl click Skada button to reset data)

Directions:

The person who downloads this has to unpack everything using an application which can unzip folders (Winzip, etc.), and then put all the folders in his / her World of Warcraft folder.

Copy your current WTF/Interface folders to your desktop to back them up before installing.

You then place the downloaded WTF/Interface folders into your Wow directory in their place.

When you download this, edit the folders to rename them from the generic "Account Name", "Server", "Character" to your actual accountname - the same goes for the server- and characternames. Do this first, before you even load up the game. Otherwise, the settings for everything will not take, and you may have to do it over to get everything working properly.

Upon entering game, make sure all addons are enabled! Make sure "Load out of date Addons" is checked!!!

Once loaded with all addons enabled, you will get a pop-up asking if you want to install BlkUI. Choose "Yes", and you should be pretty much good to go.

If any profiles for specific addons have issue loading, you may choose the Blk_UI profile for said addon.

You can then copy your bindings-cache.wtf and macros-cache.txt in from your backed up desktop folders, and keep your previous macros/keybindings.

Don't update Sharedmedia or Sharedmedia: Additional Fonts, as they it will overwrite the in-game font settings.

Addons Included:

Aurora, Bagnon, Bartender, Gnosis, Raven, Fonter, VuhDo, HideBossFrame, HideRaidFrame, Stuf Unit Frames, Reflux, SharedMedia, WeakAuras, Phanxchat, SexyMap, Skada, KgPanels, Tidyplates, Tiptac, DBM, HideBlizzardRaidFrame, Rogue Spam Reborn.
__________________________________________________________________________________________

Changed loader to work correctly. (Thanks to Real of RealUI!)

Added in the option to toggle most of the UI on/off at will.

Redid boss frames to look better and have a castbar.

Lots of odds and ends.

I fiddled about with it a little and now my damage isn't showing up. I can't figure out which addon is responsible for this and I have all of them enabled. Help please!

Fonter is the addon which changes the Damage Font. The regular blizzard interface is what allows/hides damage showing, so check those settings. I can't really help without knowing what you messed with.

Worst case scenario, just reinstall it.

Right!

I finally figured out what was wrong.

I had to go in to the WTF>config and set locale from "enUS" to "enGB" as i play on an european server.A tip for those ,who like me, are not too familiar with everything behind these UI's and what makes them work

Works flawlessly

Thank you so much for this amazing UI

OK.

It's driving me crazy, I've searched everywhere but I can't find any option to move the cooldown timer bar. Since I use 1920x1200 resolution it is a little out of place and need moving. So far I've managed to move everything else to where it's supposed to be. Love it!

hello. I would like to ask if one could change your BlkUI 1920x1080 resolution at 1920x1200. or how do I set to 1920x1200 to automatically adjust my addons? BlkUI yours is perfect! I just pity of it does not fit on my 1920x1200 resolution :-( Thank you for your reply: - *

Bartender bar 9 is the cooldown bar. Just /bartender, hit "unlock" and move it where you want it.

There isn't really a way to automatically have everything click into place for a different resolution. You'll just have to move the bars and such manually. I don't play on 1920x1200, so not really willing to spend my free time setting that up, no offense.

I'm gonna have a go modding it to work with my 1200p monitor (since it does seem better suited then Tuk or Elv for rogues and other DPS)

So if Blacksad doesn't mind I can always upload it if I manage to get it decent

Well I got it 98% there, leveling my rogue while using it and seems fine (maybe abit more tweaking needed)

Main problems I have atm is quest objective popup don't seem to be tracked (IE Boars Slain 9/10)

And I haven't had a proper look yet, but is there a addon or setting to let me know when my target as a debuff on it I should know about (bubble on pally, or in jade temple the debuff the twin boss gets when its time to swap)

There are Weakauras set up to track all defensive abilities on people in PvP, such as bubble. The quest tracker is turned off by default, but you can just go under interface and switch it on.

Tracking debuffs on the target can be done in multiple ways, but I generally had things set up simply for broad use. You can set up debuff tracking with both Raven or Stuf unit frames fairly easily.

Yes, everything should be fine to update. I do everything individually, and the custom stuff such as Art of Unit frames aren't changed by updating, so you should be gtg.
