Plater Nameplates  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v8.2.5.278
by: Tercioo [More]

Plater is a handsome and light addon for nameplates!

Plater and Details! are made by the same author!

Features:
- New nameplates for friendly characters.
- Unlock configs to modify the new personal health bar/power bar in the middle of the screen.
- Allows to change the size of the resource indicators such as the runes for Death Knights.
- Indicates when a npc is an objetive of a quest.
- Highlight detector npcs inside Suramar city.
- Color change by aggro and by player role (tank or dps).
- Dynamic sizing allowing to have two sets of size, one for combat and other out of combat.
- Allows full modification of textures.
- Allows to modify the clickable area of the plate.
- Unlock separate config for each type of unit: Friendly Player, Enemy Player, Friendly Npc, Enemy Npc.
- Show your buffs and debuffs, allowing to black list some of them.

Important: by default the health bar of enemy nameplates has a height 2 pixel when out of combat, but do not be fooled by that, each nameplate has by default 45 pixels of clickable area (vertical) and both the health bar and the clickable area can be modified.

Without class color should be the default, there's an option to that under General Appearance.

OH yeah how about the ability to ignore auras that are passive like windwalking etc that is irritating when its up on the screen and its kind of not needed
Both implemented on the next version.
Take in mind we cannot fully hide a nameplate during combat, with that we can only hide the cast/health bars but the plate still can be selected even if is invisible.

Yes, click "Config plates for Enemy Npc" then
Plate Order > swap order of castbar, health and debuffs.
Npc Name Text > Anchor, I believe you want set "Top" on this one.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Colors

Thanks

I will tell you I have the numbers for cooldowns and it works on my bartender but for the debuffs i put on the nameplates its still just a twirling thing no numbers... not sure if that's what you meant though but i cant find any special setting for that.

And right now it seems like it just has the timer as a swirl out anyway to add some text timer on the buffs on the frames ?

But thanks so much for what you did so far
Enemy buffs on the nameplate (e.g. for arena pvp) is on the scope, but it require more time to implement so might be something on the near future.

For resize there is an option to scale them.
The timer you may enable the option for them on the Interface options or using another mod such as omniCC.

By the way, the tooltips aren't the same for each section (frinedly player says "which order plates should go above and below")

Edit: one more on personal health and mana bars, setting the y offset for the health percent text when the anchor is set to left does nothing.
All fixed.

Any type of customizing allowed ?
Try the latest version (v1.12), it should work as you wish.

Not a big thing at all but it confused me until I saw that tooltip.

By the way, the tooltips aren't the same for each section (frinedly player says "which order plates should go above and below")

Edit: one more on personal health and mana bars, setting the y offset for the health percent text when the anchor is set to left does nothing.

Other than that I really am loving this.
