It does seem to be Titan Ammo. When I disable it after an initial lockup happens, I can enter WoW just fine. If I then log, reenable Titan Ammo, and try to get back into WoW, it immediately locks and disconnects. I've been playing both toons that were effected by this problem on and off since last night with Titan Ammo disabled and, so far, no lockups and disconnects. It would happen on one toon after maybe 2 or 3 hours of play, and sometimes every 15 to 30 min thereafter, so it looks promising.

I'll test it for another few days and let you know if the problem has gone away permanently.

Btw, before this, I'd never had a single problem at all with Titan. It's one of the few addons I've had that just plain works.

I'm having a strange problem with Titan. I just transferred a toon over to my main server (no clue if this is relevant or not). What was happening is that WoW would randomly lock up and disconnect me on this toon. This only started happening about a week ago. I'd log back on, another lockup and immediate disconnect. I ended up tracing this to Titan Ammo panel of all things. I disabled it, everything worked. Then this issue started happening on another toon as well. Neither use ranged weapons, so I just disabled Ammo for both of them and, so far anyway, no more lockups and disconnects.

I have added a couple of addons in the last week, but I disabled them and the problem persisted. The addons that I've updated recently are Auctioneer Advanced, Atlas/Quest/Loot, Outfitter, and DamageMeters. I also upgraded to the latest Titan, hoping this would solve the problem (it didn't). Any idea why the apparently innocuous Ammo panel would could cause this?

Thanks,

Re: Titan / Tooltip erros

It seems that the new slider options to scale various things in the UI also affect the tooltip, or at least the scaling that tooltip add-ons use. Could you please look into this and see what can be done to fix/work around it? Maybe introduce the sliders that titan is using to scale things as a separate add-on so that it can be loaded separately?
I spend a lot of time trying to decide how to deal with the issue that you are describing, so what Titan currently does is only affect the tooltip scale of its own plugins (that you can change via the slider and that's the whole point in using it really), assuming those plugins use the game tooltip and not a tablet. Every other aspect of the UI that uses the game tooltip should be fine and keep whatever value a secondary addon assigns to it. However, I do recognize the fact that some people may want to adjust the tooltip scale universally via a single addon, so I'm going to add an option that will disable Titan's adjustment, for your convenience. As a temporary workaround you can always adjust Titan's tooltip scale explicitly via the slider, in Panel Control.

Edit : Just coded this internally and testing it.

"Calculate inventory damage", that was the culprit Thanks

Awesome. It would be the first time I'd see this on a bar mod. Get a few modules ported over and that alone would be worth the switch.

I guess we could add a few more sliders on Titan Transparency control to achieve this. Will be looking into it, if everything goes well, expect to see it, in a future release.

We could probably do that, though it will take a while, since we are testing for 2.4 atm.
