Would you consider reworking it into a LibDataBroker plugin? You could add that interface to the current functionality (probably easily) -- including an option to hide the current display frame.
The LDB display could do the same as your current frame: displaying the DPS text and on keypress putting the text into a chat frame.

You can use LibFilter for something like that. It is a library, but also contains plugins for Baggins and Combuctor. Don't forget to enable the new filters in the Combuctor...

I fully agree. I tried all the HUDs I could find, but (for me) in usability and simplicity IceHUD is the best solution.

(It is again useful for Ace2 libraries, for which they started to put "Lib: " in the beginning of the addon name, but not in the folder name.)

The user interface needs some polish ofc. Atm I had two probs with it: 1. the size of the main window is remembered, but the vertical position isn't, and 2. I could once resize the main window in such a way that the addon list didn't resize, so there was a big empty area at the bottom.
