I have noticed that you have to do this several times do it on the fubar nameplate addon and make so it is on 'show' and not 'hidden' also do it in your interface options.

There isn't an option to 'turn it on' its either:
- Always
- Never
- With profession
Default setting is 'with profession'.

So I don't know where else to check. :(
