QuestClicks generates a dynamic bar of up to 12 buttons to make your life easier. Originally, this add-on was created in response to the large number of usable quest items introduced in WoLK – the kind where the quest giver would hand you an item and tell you to go somewhere and use it. Throw parachutes to troops, thaw people out with a flamethrower, planting acorns in dead dragons, and the like.
Having to dig through bags to find these items and add them to a bar, only to have to get rid of them after the quest was completed, was a pain. I wrote QuestClicks to create temporary buttons for them to make this easier.
Over the years, the default WoW interface has adopted some of this burden, and now many items like this show up in the quest tracker on-screen. There are still some that don’t, however. In addition, there are a lot of other annoying instances where you pick up an item and need to find it to click on it – recipes, ore nuggets, herb parts, motes, toys, etc.
QuestClicks has optional categories for all of these types of items and more. If you pick up something you can learn or collect, you’ll get a button for it. Click it, learn the recipe, and the button goes away by itself.
You can even add your own items (see the GUI panel in your interface configuration window for details).
Currently, the following categories of items can be enabled to generate buttons automatically:

I tried adding Scarlet Onslaught Trunk Key to the extras list so I could quickly see how many keys I had left but they do not show up. Is it because they are in the keybag?

Ok found the problem. If you have an odd number of ore say 119. If for some reason the first pile selected is the pile with 19 ore, it will allow you to prospect 3 times then gets stuck on that pile of 4 ore even though you have 104 ore. It throws red error message that you need 5 ore. So you are right...... BTW, will clicking the ore on the bar prospect it or is it like the cloth, just a notifier? I have had to use the prospect ore in my spell book and click the quest click ore in the bar.

I've been using an addon called "Stackpack" (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...stackpack.aspx) which automatically restacks your inventory for you and it has been working pretty well to keep my items organized. I am hopeful that it will also resolve the "less than 5 in one stack" issue, though I haven't extensively tested it since I don't have a jewelcrafter. |

Awesome, I looked for 4 days to find an addon to put my 5 stacks of ore in a button. This morning I finally found one. I started to mine and all of a sudden my ore showed up on questclicks. I was a little confused for a second, wondering why the new addon I installed was integrated into questclicks. A little more looking on my interface resulted in another button. This really confused me. Well to make my long story shorter, I installed wow matrix yesterday and it updated your addon without me knowing it. If I knew u added ore it woulda saved me tons of looking :P.
Great addon and let me get to testing new changes. I'll do my best to break it. Only problem, as someone mentioned is tooltip covering buttons in certain directional positions. While testing, It told me i need 5 ore to prospect. I had 100 in bags. I have noticed this problem with all addons that try to prospect ore. Ill disable all addon except this one and see it its a conflict or not.

tooltip
Is there a way to configure where the tooltip show up? Right now it's right next to the quest items. It's hard to use the items and see things with the tooltips covering.

This is the latest mod I've tried out and I gotta say I just love this!
only little glitch I've seen is it didn't hold the direction once between log ins but re did it that time and it's held. Loved how the motes showed up didn't realize that was going to do that but great! thanks a million groovy addon. |

Version 1.08 Update
I finally sat down and figured out how to create a configuration GUI, so that is now fully functional in Version 1.08! It's under the "Interface" menu, Addons tab (the new Blizzard standard place for addon configuration).
Also, I have added a new optional set of categories of conditional items. This is a new way to handle the "motes", etc. In addition to the standard collapsibles, based on Nakawe's suggestion below I have implemented a skill-based conditional system as well. The first is simply items that don't register properly with the detection code (Such as Freya's Ward listed by Tensen below). The "Additions" category will make them appear, so if anyone encounters this type of item, please post it so I can update the Additions list in future versions. If enabled (via the configuration panel) the "Trades" category can show items based on the trade skills your character has. There are currently two defined "Trades" conditions: 5 or more pieces of Ore (just the ones that can be prospected) will create a button if you have the Prospecting ability 20 or more pieces of raw Cloth (the ones that can be directly sewn into bolts) will create a button if you have the Tailoring skill. You can click on your Prospecting skill and click directly on the QuestClicks ore button to prospect it. In the case of cloth, it is more of an indicator that you have at least one full inventory slot taken up by raw cloth and may want to cut it into bolts to save space. Again, these only show if you have the appropriate skill, and can be unchecked in the configuration panel. mrsjerryellison: I guess I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to say. I tried swapping out every weapon combination (swords, maces, polearms, 1h and 2h) on my Paladin and I couldn't shake anything loose from the Extras list. Can you provide detailed steps to duplicate the issue you are having?

Loving the addon (sorry for QuesterJester author...just not used to that style).
I just found a quest called "Returned Sevenfold", and had a quest item called "Freya's Ward" which didn't show up on the click list. Not mod breaking, just thought I'd mention it for future references. Thanks for making a great mod. |

If you have a 5 stack or more of ore and are a jewelcrafter will it show on the list to prospect? If no it would be a cool addition.
