Thanks and keep up the great work

A follow-up to my commentary about the position and effect sorts not working. The reason is that for some reason those 2 modules are listed as out-of-date in 3.2.2 while the main producer addon isn't. So it just wasn't loading those modules and that's why it wasn't working.

With the latest patch, sorting by position and effect have broken and can no longer be used. Also I've noticed some odd behavior with BC enchantment recipes. They show up as both yellow and orange after the point where they should be yellow. It doesn't happen with classic recipes and I can't say about wrath ones. I noticed this behavior before the patch as well so it's unrelated to that.

About the ghost frame: juste to be clear, for the avoidance of doubt, the ghost frame is invisible.
Note that as I have quite a lot of addons, it is possible that another addon includes another version of a library you use in Producer (quite surely snowflake as other people have reported that). Is there a way to know if your addon is using the version of snowflake that come with your addon or the version that come with another addon ?

Anyway, good luck with bug hunting for the locking system (which is great and was more than welcome ).

Just an idea: would it be possible to detach the window of an item of the menu ? The idea would be to keep the menu and sub-menus the way they are, while adding the possibility to have a set of items on separate windows on screen. When the window is detached from the menus, a button to close the window would appear.

Other idea: abitlity to detach an item window and automatically create detached windows of sub-reagents (with a depth limit of 2 lower levels for example). Ok this one is a really more advanced idea, and may require too much time (but I like the idea to have all the items needed on screen and to be able to produce each one very easily).

Ideas are for future releases, if you have time and want to, I would just be glad if the ghost frame disappears and menu locking works as you intented

I have been on holyday for the last three weeks.

@DaemonSambe
A nice idea. I think I can implement such feature.

oh WOW !!

I just found the feature where you can lock the submenu... absolutely fantastic. To add a little bit, it would be HUGE if you could have a key bind setup specifically for this feature, such that:
1. you lock the submenu
2. you can then click the keybind to create the item

This is mostly for enchanting, and leveling up, where i am spending 30mins with multiple mouse clicks to enchant and re-enchant an item. Having the keybind to select the enchant, then means i just have to click the item and of course... click yes.

Please PLEASE !!!

I have this too.
The window goes away but leaves a dead spot on the screen that can not be clicked through or be the starting point for a camera move.

Very annoying to have to make the window the smallest prof (First Aid for me) and move it off to a rarely used side of the screen before closing it each time.

Also, is there a search feature available?
The search feature is available when opening producer config window (either type /prod or go through WoW regular options menu -> interface -> add-ons).

Note that when the search field is activated, the ghost frame, that remains after closing the craft frame, is of the size of the search field, which is smaller than the craft-list window. Anyway it still is quite annoying as it doesn't really help with having to move the window to a place where it won't be a problem

Menu locking behavior

Hello,

Just one note about menu locking behavior: when you lock a menu on an item, if you hover with your mouse on a reagent of this item that has a sub-menu, it unlocks the menu item you just locked: can you change this so that menu locked items can only be unlocked by left-clicking on them ? Or is there an optional parameter (I could have missed) that can be set to obtain this behavior ?

Thanks,
Awak

Hello,

I found that when I close producer window, there's some kind of ghost frame that remains, of the size and in place of the lower part window of producer (the one containing the recipes lists), that prevents from clicking with your mouse in this area, thus preventing you from selecting, right clicking and item/npc/whatever, or moving your camera.
I also see this behavior.
