As of NeedToKnow version 4.0.0, I am retiring this clone of the project. please go to the NeedToKnow project page to download or comment on this addon.


I apologize to people who used updaters to keep up with NTK who won't automatically follow up on this. I may replace this addon with a stub that just prints a message on the screen to get the addon from the new place.

- Fixed: blink didn't work with weapon imbues

- Updated combat log hander for 4.1 (targettarget bars). Also tried to make it a little more efficient

Yes, check "Track duration increases" on that bar's configuration.

I'll poke at it a bit. There's evidence in the code that someone tried and failed to add that once before, so it's probably a bit tricky.

2.8.0 should now be able to tell the two trinket procs apart. I also restructured it for folks like Yawning to more easily hook.

You can't right now. I'm holding off working on this until 3.3, which is rumored to change the API so that Addons can tell the two buffs apart. If the API doesn't change, I'll put in some kind of tooltip-based filter.

I cant get NTK to monitor both death's verdict procs. Even with the proper spell IDS. Can you show me how? So far i can only get it to monitor 1 of the procs not both trinkets seperate. I am a rogue and use the agility spellid.

I'm not sure what you mean here. I just tried every kind of invis I can think of, and they work for all my bars.

Hooks for Class specific extensions.

I've been using your mod since I found it, and have mostly been able to abandon a set of changes I was maintaining for personal use that modernized the original NeedToKnow. Thanks for your hard work.

I still have to apply a overlay each time you update it, and was wondering if you would be receptive to folding in some changes that would allow your implementation to be extended easily with class specific tweaks.

To be specific, the extensions I have implemented are:
*) A hook in NeedToKnow.Bar_AuraCheck() that lets a 3rd party change bar.text. (Exposing bar, buffName, and count)
*) A hook in NeedToKnow.Bar_AuraCheck() that lets a 3rd party change the base VCT overlay duration. (Based off spellToTime)

If you're intrested in the idea, I can give you a diff file containing the modifications to the core addon, and a zip file of "NeedToKnow_Druid/" that shows how I use the changes.
