Threat Plates (TP for short) is a addon for customizing your nameplates. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

Features:

SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
Ace3 profiling.
Low memory footprint.
Threat system management.
Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
Customizable widgets.
Customizable totem nameplates.
Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

Commands:

/tptp - Displays options.
/tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
/tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
/tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
/tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
/tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. Fixed a Lua error with Auras widget that occurred when switching icon styles because an invalid default value was used for vertical alignment of duration and stack text [Comment #7324, #7325].
Fixed a Lua error that could occur in rare cases when leveling up.
Updated integrated libraries (Ace3 Release-r1341, LibCustomGlow v1.0.3-11-g5bc2b61-alpha).

Am I missing something? Also, I think the option to show class debuffs on nameplates is really interesting, and I'd like to point out that its possible to get info about a targets debuffs just by mousing over them, instead of having to target an enemy to see their debuffs. An addon called DoTimer already has that option, so you can probably just copy and paste the code from them.

I color the bar based on threat, and that's really causing me problems NVM: while writing this I tried "/run TidyPlatesThreat.db.profile.settings.raidicon.hpColor = false" and that takes care of my issue. An option in the UI for it would be nice though NVM #2: Just read the comment on the main addon page about the addition of the raid target coloring and the lack of options at this time... Another issue I seem to have is the highlight frame. In order to have it visible during combat I need to bring the frame level up to 20-something, but I also have my raid mark positioned to be centered on the left edge of the bar and with the frame strata of the highlight frame that high, it goes over the raid mark. Maybe bump up the strata of the raid mark? Or give us an option to change it like the highlight frame/elite marker? And thanks for all the work you're putting into this. It manifested in game as the names of mobs in one boss fight being actually mob names from the previous fight. For example, one of the trash mobs in the Lady Deathwhisper fight was "Lord Marrowgar". Very confusing.

I'd recommend doing a completely reinstall of Threat Plates.

That means deleting the addon from your interface folder and the saved variables for it aswell.

Make sure you're using the latest version of Tidy Plates Beta.

I marked the tree here, flew over into the vicinity of a hostile guy (didn't need to target him) and flew back, and this was the result.

It overlaps the nameplates and it causes fps to drop over the marked creature. It is fixed when the creature is unmarked. Is there a possible temporary fix that I can just disable the color by mark?
