    Just want to say for good book keeping: I did f*ck up horribly lately
    • v0.91: Lua error: Stuffed too much "upvalues" in a single function (over 60); back to the writing table
    • v0.92: TOC error: Somehow, accidentally added some random word into the TOC, thus breaking it
    I do a lot of playtesting, but the v0.91 error didnt show for me, and the v0.92 TOC f*ckup snuck in right before I uploaded the addon.
    just WTF is wrong with me?

    I want to add a new feature for v0.94+:
    Option to output to Combat Text addons, like SCT, or the default Blizzard Floating Combat Text

    Awesome addon- SCT announces would be amazing! I'm glad to hear you plan on adding them =)

    Just downloaded the most recent update- for some reason everything is working fine except Ketho isn't reporting any Deaths. I have "Deaths" enabled in the config. Am I doing something wrong or is there a glitch I don't know about?

    I want to give my apologies on this matter ..
    I never came to add this functionality yet

    dang, my response is 2 months late ><
    I got completely no idea why it's not tracking "Deaths" for you, if that option was enabled ..

    But this will take me around a week or so ..

    It still works for v4.1.0 though, I would only need to bump the TOC to 40100 ..
    Features:
    • More efficient code
    • Patch v4.2.0 forwards compatibility
    • Some filtering options, but it's still in the drawing plans
    • Support for outputting to Blizzard's SCT and the SCT addon (not MSBT)

    Just a quick FYI. An easy way to support the various methods of outputting to the various combat text sinks (Blizzard floating combat text, MSBT, SCT, Parrot, BCF) is LibSink-2.0.

    I am trying yours out but from my brief look... It is still to verbose...

    There is currently no way to make this addon's messages as condensed as in your screenshot
    I also want to say that YurrCombatLog and Ketho CombatLog are way different, in both design and goal ..
    The idea was to filter out the most important events. e.g Taunts/Interrupts
    So this addon actually does not even show all the events, like:
    Code:
    -- (Yurr) Aura Applied
[You] ++ Dash
    But it shows only events like this, which are less frequently but a bit more verbose
    Code:
    -- (Ketho) Taunt
[You][Dark Command] taunted [Monster]
    I've been trying to have "custom message formats" so you can modify how verbose it is, but it was rather hard ..
    But maybe I should try to help update YurrCombatLog instead, since it's the least verbose addon

    Would it be possible to selectively output to chat?

    Interrupts or CC breaks is fine, but I'm not sure the raid needs to know every time I taunt (while it is still valuable to me to see the display myself when someone taunts).

    It's not currently possible, but I will try to find a way for this

    I imagine something like, having 2 separate filter menus for "Local Output" and "Chat Output"
    I'm just not sure how I should implement/design this, without making the options menu too complicated
