BasicUI

About Basic UI...
BasicUI is a custom UI for World of Warcraft.

I was torn between a few UI's to use a while back and then relized I could take bits and pieces from each UI to make it my own.

So that is what i did, this is a combination of NeavUI and TukUI the way i wanted them to be.

All addons that are in this UI I was given permission from there respected creators to modify and use.


Addons that are incorporated into BasicUI:

* Modified by Cokedrivers


Here are a few things that are included in BasicUI...
  • Stand Alone UI (there are integrations of other addons to work with BasicUI).
  • Custom Unitframe Scaleing.
  • AutoSell all Grey items at a vendor.
  • Datatext Panels to the left of actionbars.
  • Detail Tooltip
  • User Friendly Chat
  • And much, much, more take a chance download BasicUi and give it a try.

Hey,

Cheers for the quick reply!

I actually have gotten use to the positions now so it's not such a big deal for me to be honest. But I have been experiencing the game crashing since I've started using this UI. I thought it was a problem with my system at first but it seemed to clear up after I turned off the UI, which is a shame and I dunno how to sort it. But either way, I'm trying to just go with it as it's a really great piece of work. But if you know something I don't that would be great.

Continue to keep up the sweet work.
Ill look into setting up a (Position) in the options for the map but the player frame is just a right click and move, unless you want positioning options for the unitframes as well.

I actually really love this UI! Continue to update it please as I can see myself using it for a good time to come. I would love to see a few options though if you're capable to do them, such as;

- Move the map and the player frame into the top corners as I can't seem to do so

Raid frames?

Has anyone tested this in a raid setting?

I really like the look of it, I enjoy tweaks to my UI but I like the 'real' feel of the Blizz look. :-) Awesome job, I hope you keep it up!!

It took me a little while to get back at doing BasicUI but it is back and running again.

Patch 5.0.4

Once i have downloaded the new patch I will be testing BasicUi to make sure all works and when i'm done I will upload the new files.

I think it looks better than the default Blizzard art.
It should i have not replaced any "skins" of Blizzards so i do not see why it would not work.

I'm in the same boat as you, altho i keep switching back and forth to Tukui(my edit) and default for different toons, in the end its personal taste tho but keep up the good work!
