SixUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: Sixthly [More]

SixUI
SixUI's goal is to provide a clean and consistent design for Blizzard's frames and all of its supported AddOns. It uses pixel-perfect borders at all UI scales and screen sizes. The default layout focuses on healing with an MMO mouse, with the main focal point during raid combat being the lower central area of the screen and featuring action bars resembling a Razer Naga. Less important information like Chat, Minimap, and Skada is placed in the upper outside area of the screen to reduce distraction and maximize the visibility of the raid environment.
Features
- Easy to install and update.
- Edit Mode compatibility.
- Layouts for damage and healing roles.
- LibDataBroker compatibility with many included plugins.
- Pixel perfect, customizable borders.
- Skinned Blizzard action bars, auras, chat frame, and minimap.
- Skinning support for many third-party AddOns.
- Some basic quality of life automations.
Instructions
- Install SixUI, all recommended AddOns, and any suggested AddOns using your preferred AddOn manager.
- Log in to your character.
- Click Reload UI to finish setting up SixUI.

Hello Sixthly,

I've encountered a few of bugs.

1. The minimap moves on its own, and I'm not sure what's causing this. It will move up and down. I noticed that the bounding box sometimes changes in Edit Mode. Sometimes the map it outside the bounding box, and other times it isn't. That might be the reason why it's moving on its own, but not the cause. Maybe the addons menu introduced in 10.1? Outside of bounding box example: https://i.imgur.com/re8HUrH.png

2. It's hard to see stacks for debuffs. In the Echo of Neltharion fight in Aberrus, when I get the stacking debuff of Shatter, for example, it's hard to see how many stacks I have. Maybe it's just that icon's color that makes it hard to see the number. I feel like other stackable buffs and/or debuffs I can read a bit better. Example: https://i.imgur.com/jy8XAeQ.png

3. Gnosis doesn't seem to update the bar color for classes. No matter what class I am playing it always shows Hunter colors. Sometimes in the open world it will show my current classes' color, but when I enter into dungeons or whatever, it reverts back to the Hunter color.

4. This might be related to the last one, but this isn't a bug and more of a question. You implemented a feature in one of the updates that will automatically switch profiles to a certain profile when entering combat, entering an instance, or whatever. I was curious if there was a way to turn this feature off.

5. Your broker integration also integrates with Bazooka and puts SixUI broker things on its bar by default. It took me a long while to figure out what the extra Broker data was being added. I have this fixed now, but I just wanted to bring this up in case you wanted to remove this interaction for a future update. I might not be explaining this 100% correctly, but hopefully it makes sense if not, I'll try and explain it better.

6. I'm not sure if this is possible, but if it is, this is more of a suggestion. Opening windows for LFG, Adventure Guide, Spellbook, Appearances, etc. All open up above the chat. Is there anyway these can be set to default open just below the chat. Picture: https://i.imgur.com/XJCBFAG.png

7. Weapon enchants (like Completely Safe Rockets for Hunters) sometimes shows a number for the remaining time on the buff instead of a bar. It's pretty inconsistent and I'm not sure how to replicate it. Example: https://i.imgur.com/xt8T9Vy.png

And that's all I can think of at this time. I'll let you know if anything else comes up. Thanks again for maintaining this wonderful UI.

SixUI 10.1.0 is available on Curse. I'll publish an updated compilation once all third-party AddOns have been updated by their respective authors. Enjoy!

Lua Code:
  1. local screenWidth, screenHeight = GetPhysicalScreenSize();
  2. DefaultCompactNamePlateFrameSetUpOptions.useFixedSizeFont = screenHeight <= 1200;
confirmed to be fixed in .21
thank you again for your work on this ui <3

and third one, apologies for the triple comment

Isolated it to this part
Interface\AddOns\SixUI\Modules\Integration\LibSharedMedia.lua:150
Lua Code:
  1. function M:SetGameFont(fontFile)
  2.     for fontObject in self:IterateFonts() do
  3.         local _, fontSize, fontFlags = fontObject:GetFont()
  4.
  5.         fontObject:SetFont(fontFile, fontSize, fontFlags)
  6.     end
  7. end

For some reason, the size ends up at 120

I've commented that out for now locally

so your hunch was right for this to be related to the fonts overriding

hope this helps

Thanks for reporting this issue. I haven't been able to recreate it yet. Could you try turning off SixUI -> General -> Font -> Override -> Game Fonts?

Additionally, it'll also be useful to know which WoW region (Americas/Oceanic, EU, CN or KR) and client language (e.g. enUS) you're using.

Turning that setting off didn't help

I'm in EU, german Client (deDE)

tried "/console cvar_default" as well, but still like that (also cleared my WTF folder)
please let me know if I can help in anyway for this
