This is embarrassing. How do I use GitHub?

ETA: Reading is hard. I figured it out.

Update for 7.1?

There have been a substantial amount of UI changes in 7.1. Is SuperVillain UI being updated soon? Thanks!

Actually this functionality is built into the nameplates update I did a few weeks ago but unfortunately It's not working correctly (I've just checked). I'll fix that.

Keep an eye on the new official development repository for that some time in the next day or so.
BTW: Done

Thanks in advance!

Update: I've had to install Grid 2 to show hots and stuff so I can heal. I see that I can enable buffs and debuffs on the SVUI raid frames just like on the SVUI party frames - but thats not exactly what I am asking for. It would take way too much fiddling to only show the particular hots and things that I need in the right places when I can just use other healing addons such as Vuhdo, Grid, ElvUI, etc. All I had to do with those is install them and they all worked fine. But I want to just use SVUI.
This will come when we do a proper UnitFrame update. SuperVillain UI uses the oUF unit frame framework but the version currently in use is old and Legion has broken many things. We're talking about moving to the latest version of oUF which is being actively maintained again (yay) but that is a big job and will take some time to achieve so we're working that out. As soon as we have a plan we'll let you know

regards

joev

I've tested this. I'm using Curse client v5 (the old one). I don't sub so I can only update one addon at a time. I've had no problems updating any of the SVUI mods.

Not going to be interested in using an addon that I have to update manually, especially when said addon has multiple mods.
Is this an issue with the build Munglunch released yesterday?

As far as I know, authors have no control over how the Zip is created - the curseforge build system does that, not the author (i.e. Munglunch hasn't uploaded a zip file for Curse to supply to clients but instead tagged the code as a release and the build system takes over from there).

So I think it is a Curse issue... maybe not in the client itself but in the way the zip is constructed by curseforge and how the client treats that...

It's even unclear why the client doesn't like it. I can open the zip from here (wowi) and curse fine in windows itself so maybe you could ask the curse support team to point you at the logs and we can help them find out what's going wrong.

Regards

joev
No, this has been an ongoing issue. Every time I reach out to Curse they claim it's an issue with the addon since most of the addon's components update just fine -- only the larger portions such as Core or Skins have an issue.

This is the error I get when attempting to update via the client:

Could not read C:\\Users\\Avachel\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\Curse Client\\A050F6B544544EBDBC233A3E1B6EAEEE\\4.zip as a zip file
