Hey everyone!

To make the process of forming groups less time consuming and actually let people focus on playing the game this project came to be. This project is still early in development! I*would appreciate any feedback regarding which features should or should not be included and how they could be improved on. Feel free to submit it as a comment below!

Features that are/will be included.

Creating Groups

  • Groups created using ClassicLFG are visible to all players using it on the Realm
  • When looking for people it will periodically write in a public channel of your choice to make people without the addon aware of the group
  • You can NOT set any itemlevel requirements for your group and the itemlevel of applicants is not visible

Looking for Groups
  • You can look for groups for any dungeon, but there is also a "Custom" category for world events and more.
  • The addon automatically parses all chat messages and lists them as groups to queue up (even from other layers!)
    Note: If you queue for such a group it will whisper the leader of the group with the message that you provide*
  • Multiple dungeons can be selected at a time
  • Groups of which the leader is on your ignore list will not show up

Features that will not be included:
  • Automatic group matchmaking

privacy of my talents is also important to me in general. last thing I need is zoomers trying to tell me how to play/spec.

just let the leader assign a role manually so they can keep track of who is doing what
With the next release you can disable the talent sharing in the settings.

I don't like that it looks at your talents to define you as tank/heal/dps. most people level as dps and can tank or heal a leveling dungeon just fine.

privacy of my talents is also important to me in general. last thing I need is zoomers trying to tell me how to play/spec.

will the addon be updated to reflect this?
I was waiting for more detailed information to come out. Currently the addon allows up to 5 players for all dungeons except UBRS and LBRS which have a cap of 10. I will update the data accordingly to the new information which will be in the build that I will release the weekend prior to the launch!

Guessing im surpised as everyone else, from the recent AMA caps have been confirmed

I'm sorry to disappoint you but everything in the UI is custom made and cannot be easily modified to have the Bliizard UI look&feel. I might add the option later down the road, but for now I want to focus on other functionalities first!
No problem! I shall use it regardless. ;-)


Hope to maybe see it in the future.
