After many painstaking hours of development and testing (huge thanks to all my friends that helped test!) my newest creation is ready for the general public.
TTSpellTimer
Summary
This is a stand-alone addon that will display various debuff and timer related effects for a large number of spell and abilities. Each class has a supported set of spells, which will be listed later in this document. Using this addon does not require you to create macros for each of your spell or abilities. Just install and play as normal!

This invaluable addon does not work with the new 1.11 mage Polymorph: Pig, and probably won't work with Turtle either. Rumour has it there will be a Cow as well.
I love this addon and appreciate all you've done. Thanks!

did you try "/ttst reset window" ?
After just reading the description I came across that. |

Can't move the mod
I moved the barto under the target, and then I rescaled it. This caused the bar to move itself to the very top of the screen, where the only thing that can be seen is the "Done" button and it can't be moved again. I tried reinstalling the mod, but the bar stays at the very top of the screen. How can I get it to at least reset??

Minor Error
On the settings screen, when I select "Warlock Pet > Spell Lock" and then collapse the "Warlock Pet" menu, I get a WoW error:
...\TTSpellTimerSpellData.lua : 4919 : attempt to index field `?' (a nil value) I couldn't trace the exact problem so far, I hope you already know where the problem might be. Generally speaking, when collapsing a menu, the right settings window should be cleared, or maybe display an 'about' screen. Good work. |

That hacked version is quite good, finally it remembers the position. Only problem now for me is that while the anchor is correctly saved as "BOTTOMLEFT" (means it expands upwards and to the right, right?), it still uses "TOPLEFT" (grows to the right and downwards) ingame, until I re-set it there.
Bleh :/ ^_^

Re: Re: Timer window position doesn't save.
Edit: Well, I try to make the window grow to the left and down but I am simply unable to make it do that. I can lock the window so it wont grow large but the list is written outside the window and always out the right of the frame. It seems the left edge cannot be moved at all. There are some wierd issues with the frame expansion :-( Edit2: I push the lower left button and click done, yet the window never grows down and left. The frame is never resized nor moved. The spell list grows up and to the right.

Bug ?
Seems like there is a bug with this addon and position.
After every login I have to move the window and remove the background again. I removed the TTSpellTimer.lua from SavedVariables and started wow, set the window to the position I wanted and removed background, this is what my lua files look like, and I still have to redo it every time I logon. TTST_SpellDataUser = { ["Spells"] = { }, ["Settings"] = { ["TimerScaling"] = 1, ["Disabled"] = "no", ["TimerFramePosition"] = { }, ["HideBackground"] = "yes", ["DisableAutoMessages"] = "no", }, } |

Re: Re: Re: Instant Cast Spells
For example, this scenario will work fine: 1. Target mob A 2. Cast Banish 3. Wait for Debuff to appear on mob A 4. Timer appears 5. Target mob B This scenario will NOT work: 1. Target mob A 2. Cast Banish 3. Target mob B before Banish completes casting. 4. Timer does not appear TTSpellTimer verifies a successful application of a debuff against the current target. If you change targets before that verification occurs, no timer will appear because your new target won't have the debuff on it. Twig

Re: Re: Instant Cast Spells
Seems to be mostly when I'm working on 2 or more mobs at once (with the banish anyways) while by myself. |
