OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.7
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

Can OmniCC display the font size independently of icon size? To not scale with it? Using pixel fonts really requires it. Thanks

Can't change font

So, recently I went to change my font from MSBT's Bazooka to a custom one I registered in SharedMedia. However, when I click the drop down arrow for fonts in the options window, all I get is this
Message: Interface\AddOns\OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:341: <unnamed>:SetText(): Font not set
Time: 05/27/10 00:25:56

Locals: (*temporary) = <unnamed> {

}
(*temporary) = "Ithornet"
This happens every time, and I cannot change it =/
Is there anything I can do about this, such as just change the setting in the lua file? It didn't used to do this as far as I remember, but I could be wrong.

Yeah I got the same error here it won't be easy to find the nasty little font now :P

EDIT: After trying to figure this one out for a couple hours I found out that the issue is caused when you have the SharedMedia addon installed. This addon let you pick from more fonts, bars, etc to customize your UI. So far the addon had no problems with any of the other 20 or so addons I'm running, OmniCC seems to be the only one he's hating on.

Would the solution be on fixing something on OmniCC or the SharedMedia addon? Any idea?

To answer the question as you asked it - eliminate TipTac.
To answer the question you should be asking - read OmniCC FAQ.
Wow! A thousand apologies... and a thank you (for the last comment).

I don't understand how to add Oomni CC functionality to an addon I'm working on. Is there a certain way I have to let omnicc know I'm tracking a cooldown? Sorry, I know this is probably kinda basic but I just don't understand it.

Actually, I think I might be figuring it out now.

LibSharedMedia is a library embedded in many addons. Standalone SharedMedia addon is one of them.
You have to disable everything but OmniCC to test if you have problem outside of it.

You can fix this issue yourself if it bugs you as well.
Just follow these easy steps:
1. Navigate to "World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\OmniCC"
2. Open up full.lua in a text editor of your choice (should support display of line numbers)
3. Comment out lines 263, 265, 266 and 267 (by placing "--" (without the quotes) in front of each line)
4. Change "floor(s + 0.5)" in line 322 to "floor(s)"
5. Change "s > SHORT" in line 336 to "s > SHORT + 1" (so it correctly colors the cooldown text red at 5 seconds)
6. Done!
Could you copy and paste this section? Apparently my line numbers don't match up with the ones you provided. Also, as far as "bugging" me, its a pretty significant difference on Rapid Fire (3min cooldown) or even my hearthstone.

EDIT: There seems to be something else afoot. Even with OmniCC disabled I'm still having cooldown timer discrepancies. I will do more testing.

EDITx2: With all addons disabled, Cache+WTF folders cleared, I still have extra time ontop of skill cooldowns. Anyone else have this issue?
