OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

Attention!

You can fix this issue yourself if it bugs you as well.
Just follow these easy steps:

1. Navigate to "World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\OmniCC"
2. Open up full.lua in a text editor of your choice (should support display of line numbers)
3. Comment out lines 263, 265, 266 and 267 (by placing "--" (without the quotes) in front of each line)
4. Change "floor(s + 0.5)" in line 322 to "floor(s)"
5. Change "s > SHORT" in line 336 to "s > SHORT + 1" (so it correctly colors the cooldown text red at 5 seconds)
6. Done!

OmniCC is a service module.
Other addons should support it, not the other way around.

I'm using nMainbar as my action bar mod so it doesn't have any built in timers. So I did some more testing and it seems Shield Slam will trigger the timer for Spell Reflect (explains the overlapping numbers), and Shield Bash will trigger the timer for Devastate.

As I've already said, the problem gets "fixed" when you turn on the precise cooldown displays (tenths of seconds). Give it a try.

That does not sound like a problem with OmniCC, then

Yes a spiral is shown. Although for devastate its just the usual GCD spiral.

Upon closer inspection there seems to be 2 cooldowns being shown (a number on top of another number). The CD for devastate is being shared with shield bash. When I use shield bash the cd for shield bash is being shown for both Shield Bash and Devastate.

Is there a cooldown spinner behind that cooldown?

Warrior cd

I seem to have an issue where Devastate is shown as being on cooldown for 12 seconds sometimes. Also, the CD for spell reflect says there is 2 seconds left but it is actually already usable. Does anyone have any idea why?

I'm having this problem, too.

It appears to be some sort of rounding issue. For example, I have mine set to turn red during the last 5 seconds (default behavior), and here's what happens:

(time indicated on left side is actual time remaining on cooldown)

6.5 - 5.5 : text reads "6"
5.5 - 5.0 : text reads "5" but is not red
5.0 - 4.5 : text still reads "5" but becomes red and larger
4.5 - 3.5 : text reads "4" in red
etc.
1.5 - 0.5 : text reads "1"
0.5 - 0.0 : text disappears, nothing is displayed, but cooldown is not finished yet
0.0 : Blizzard's default shine effect occurs on default action bars

What is noteworthy here is that the color/size change occurs at the CORRECT time, even though the number displayed changes too early.

By the way, this happens even after disabling every other addon and deleting my WTF folder.

Not a huge deal overall because I've just adjusted to expecting the extra 0.5 second delay, but I know for sure this didn't happen back during Burning Crusade when I used to play more frequently.

Nope, again, all OmniCC does is display text on top of a cooldown model. It has no idea what that cooldown model is for, etc.
I'm convinced, somewhere out there is a code to query the inner cooldown ^^
