OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

I used 7-zip to compress it, you could try using that to extract it, but there shouldn't be a password.

Is there any possible way to make all numbers of the same size?
your font size changes when cooldown drops below 5 now, it is growing bigger
its annoying for me, could it be fixed?
It'll be able to be changed once I get around to creating an options menu (load on demand, of course )

@ Tuller

Thanks for explaining how to change the font. I set it to 'ClearFont' (which I love), and I'm absolutely fine now. Keep it up, this addon rockz.

Farook

Hey tuller, i posted it allready in features request, but here it goes again :P Any plans for implementing, the option to use that huge flash effect, on finishing cooldowns, as abinfo had ? i loved that function and i kinda miss it in omnicc

What does normal cooldown model on/off cause? Couldn't really figure that out yesterday....
It turns of the spinning model

1.) What other fonts can I set OCC to? Not really satisfied with the one coming in as default.
Blizzard Fonts:
Fonts\FRIZQT__.TTF -- normal font
Fonts\ARIALN.TTF -- a number font
Fonts\skurri.ttf --the text that pops up on the player frame when you get hit/healed etc
Fonts\MORPHEUS.ttf --item button text font

If Clearfont is installed:
Interface\AddOns\!ClearFont\Fonts\ClearFont.ttf
Interface\AddOns\!ClearFont\Fonts\ClearFontBold.ttf
Interface\AddOns\!ClearFont\Fonts\ClearFontItalic.ttf
Interface\AddOns\!ClearFont\Fonts\ClearFontBoldItalic.ttf
Interface\AddOns\!ClearFont\Fonts\ClearFontNumber.ttf

I'm not using "Autobar", so I don't give a damn about that...

Tried OCC yesterday, and I was really pleased by its function(s). As I said, replacing "CooldownCount" now.

I just have two short questions:

1.) What other fonts can I set OCC to? Not really satisfied with the one coming in as default.
2.) What does normal cooldown model on/off cause? Couldn't really figure that out yesterday....

This is standalone (no dependencie) and working with CTMod-bars as well?

If yes, it's definetely going to replace "CooldownCount", which I've used for ages now....

Greetz,
Farook
No dependencies. The only known issue is that it doesn't work with Autobar, and that's mostly because autobar doesn't have a cooldown.

This may be a case of overoptimization on the OnUpdate calls.
Nope, its a case of bad math on my part Need to be doing modulus instead of subtraction.

In the latest version, I noticed a weird anomaly on spells that counted down by hours or minutes. It was easy to reproduce.

On my shaman, I had used my hearthstone. The cooldown time showed 60m, which is correct. However, a minute later, it had not dropped down to 59m. I tried this with Astral Recall (shaman hearth spell). It had the same issue. It would stay at 15m. If I changed action bars and then changed back, then the updated time would show on both spells. I was able to notice this because I was on a mount in one case and flying in the other. In both cases, I had not attempted to use a spell in the action bar for over a minute. Spells with cooldowns in seconds seemed to not be affected by this. I went back to v4306b and the problem did not occur. This may be a case of overoptimization on the OnUpdate calls.

Awesome job getting it to show ontop without blinking! I plugged at it for a while and couldn't do it hehe. This is a great mod. Now I can stop adding cooldown counters to my mods and herd people here instead.

One very minor suggestion, with the separate OnUpdate it'd be cool if it runs like once every .5 or 1 second (or maybe an option for those who want it more snappy).

I plugged this at the start of function OmniCC_OnUpdate() but I'm sure you know what I mean so however you want would work:

Code:
function OmniCC_OnUpdate()
		this.timer = (this.timer or 0) + arg1
		if this.timer < .5 then
			return
		end
		this.timer = 0
		local remain = this.duration - (GetTime() - this.start);
