So I was looking at "Atlasloot Reverse" and see that it is pretty much a dead addon. But i Noticed a post a ways back stating you guys were going to implement it hopefully for Cata. Is this still the plan? Has it already been implemented and I'm missing it somehow?
It would be a great feature, and I'm curious to see what happened with that. |

Geting WoW error with latest update (6.01.00).
This application has encountered a critical error: ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception Program: C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:00D92783 The instruction at "0x00D92783" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read". Deleted old one from addons folder and put new as always and this happens, puting 6.00.00 back - no crash (didnt try new and clearing WTF thou). Anyone else? |

New version uploaded that should fix various bugs.
@Squishy Tia Currently we have no plans to change anything about the new loot browser. Please accept that there are several reasons why we do not want to merge both addons. We have been working closely together for years but we still want to keep Atlas and AtlasLoot separate. Anyway its way more complicated than you think. You can't just switch a button and both addons are merged. |

I'm guessing those that don't want the maps are the AlphaMap users...anywho...
Two things: 1) In the current version, AL is not saving the "use comparison tooltips" setting properly. It's checked, but on every login it's being ignored until unchecked and checked again. Not gamebreaking, but slightly annoying (thankfully easy to work around for now). 2) Would it be possible, since the old browser style isn't coming back, to add the categories normally assigned to the Panel buttons (World Events, PvP, Crafted sets, etc.) to the pulldown menu so we can hide the panel without losing access to those lists? Daviesh, the reason I made the comments I did regarding Atlas is because historically AL was updated far more often than Atlas was, and when Atlas fell behind, the loot lists were then out of whack and you'd get boss names that wouldnt' click, or that would give the wrong loot info (i.e. would give the loot info from the boss above/below it instead). If this is fixed as of AL v6, great. I had pretty much stopped using Atlas because of the above issue with AL updates, but if it's a thing of the past, that'd be awesome. I'm curious about those that "don't want the maps". With the exception of users of things like AlphaMap, you can't really tell me that they balk at a few MB of downloads, can you? Merging the two addons and putting in an option to disable the map if the user so wanted would solve that issue right there. It just seems completely silly to have two identical UI code bases running at once, especially since there is supposedly "integration" already present. I would think making it a single addon where all that needed to be updated would be the loot lists would simplify things a ton for both author groups. Makes more sense than having one guy work on both addons to make things compatible, no? |

The main benefit of the 'new' browser is that it greatly simplifies the update process as the code can be practically the same for Atlas and standalone. |

Anyway AtlasLoot is taking all my time I want to invest into WoW project. I have zero time for another addon. |

And yes, with integration of AL into Atlas, it can become out of sync, and has nearly every update of AL until Atlas was updated to support it. The results were out of place or non-working boss loot entries (click on the name of X boss and get Y boss' loot table instead for example). This is when using Atlas instead of AL by itself. I have a very simple question for you though - if you're using the Atlas UI with no other option to switch to a more compact form like in v5, then why isn't this addon simply being merged into Atlas? That would guarantee no more compatibility issues once and for all. It just seems kind of...redundant having the exact same UI layout as another addon and not being part of that addon ad hoc. I do appreciate what you and the other addon authors do for us. It's just in this case it doesn't seem to make sense to have two separate addons that use the same UI. They really should just be merged at this point to make one Grand Atlas addon. It would probably simplify things for the two author sets in terms of synchronizing updates, and would definitely make things easier on the end users. |

AL uses the same browser layout as Atlas now, yes. But they are not the same browsers. Merely reusing the same UI codebase, for easier maintenance. I hope, this clarification shed enough light to render your point moot. Have fun! |

Is there any way to get the old "new" browser back on AL v6? For years before the last year's worth of AL, I was stuck with the "integrated with atlas" style browser that v6 once again uses, and because the two addons (AL/A) are never concurrently updated at the same time, I always ended up with issues clicking boss loot. The browser in use for the last year fixed that problem, but I can't access it anymore.
I don't want the "new" browser because it's just the old Atlas Integrated browser that always had sync issues. |

Also upon further testing it would seem I get the error any time I check ANY dungeon loot other then the new Cataclysm 80-85 dungeons/raids. Everything else seems to work (collections, crafting, world events etc)
