PallyPower  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v1.2.27 Classic
by: Aznamir [More]

Pally Power Classic is based on version 3.0 from the Wrath of the Lich King days. This add-on provides an interactive and easy to use interface that allows you to set your own blessings (Righteous Fury, Aura, Seal and Blessings) and automatically checks for missing buffs with an easy to read indicator. While in a Party or RAID Pally Power can be used to assign blessings to other Paladins. Fellow Paladins will also have to run Pally Power for this to occur and the Paladin doing the assignments will have to be the Party Leader, Raid Leader or Raid Assistant. Fellow Paladins can select the "Free Assignment" setting to allow other non-leaders to change your Blessing assignment. In combat, none of the assignments can be changed due to the in-combat lock-out. Button controls are as follows from Top to Bottom:

Aura Button:

Mouse-Wheel (Up/Down) to cycle though Auras.
Left-Click to cast.

Seal Button | Left Side (Righteous Fury):

SHIFT + Mouse-Wheel (Up/Down) Turns Righteous Fury on/off.
Left-Click to cast.

Seal Button | Middle (Seals):

Mouse-Wheel (Up/Down) to cycle through Seals.
Right-Click to cast.

Drag Dot:

Hover over will produce a tooltip on its usage and status colors.

Left-Click to Lock (Red) / Unlock (Green) – will auto lock after 30 seconds.
Right-Click opens Blessing assignment config.

Auto Buff Button:

This button is useful when a class already has a Greater Blessing ticking away and a player within that class had died, missed the initial Greater Blessing, just joined the Party/Raid, or has an alternate blessing assigned to an individual player other than the class assignment. For example, my guild will assign Greater Blessing of Salvation to Warriors but assign a Normal Blessing of Light to tanks. The Auto Buff button will refresh those Normal Blessing assignments on the tanks without recasting Greater Blessing of Salvation and wasting Symbol of Kings. Right-Click will NOT work while in combat. Use the player’s Pop Out button (see below) to rebuff Normal Blessings while in combat.

Left-Click will buff/refresh Greater Blessings starting with a class that isn't buffed followed by the least time remaining.
Right-Click will buff/refresh Normal Blessings starting with a class that isn't buffed followed by the least time remaining.

Class Buttons:

Left-Click will cast a Greater Blessing on that class. PAY ATTENTION TO THE TIMERS because Left clicking each class button more than once will just waste Symbol of Kings. Left-Click will also work IN combat.
Right-Click works much the same way the Auto Buff button works except that it's limited to buffing the players in the clicked class. Right-Click will NOT work in combat. Use the player’s Pop Out button (see below) to rebuff Normal Blessings while in combat.

Class Buttons --> Pop Out (*Player Names*):

Left-Click will buff the named player with a Greater Blessing along with all players of that class. This is how Greater Blessings work by design so don't click each player with a Greater Blessing. You'll just waste Symbol of Kings.
Right-Click will buff the player with a Normal Blessing. These are the ONLY buttons that can be used to rebuff Normal Blessings while in combat.

v4.0.11
Re-done to support whatever paladin buffing functionality is left in WoW4.0.1
v4.0.12-15
Small fixes, options menu adjustments, added profile support, updated localizations, etc.

v4.0.16-4.0.17
Small code clean-up
RF button takes place of seals/auras when they disabled, so there's no more gap between buttons
Added SharedMedia to optional dependencies to fix the load order
Corrected CancelTimer issues

i'm kind of at a loss as to why you guys are asking for a mod to be dynamically unloaded based on what class toon you are playing atm.

you guys do realize you can just set that up on your own via the addon button at the character select screen, right?

i have mods that only load for my paladin, only load for my mage, only load for my warrior, etc.

bugging a mod developer to recode their mod so you can avoid a few clicks at the char screen once in a blue moon is a bit of overkill, imo.

Not sure where this load on demand argument comes from. This mod is not modular. It should not not process any events if you're not playing a paladin, but if you're playing a paladin the mod is fully functional and I don't see any reason to cripple it.

The mod is still under development and at the moment it does not have every possible feature available, it is not polished, not optimezed not finalized. If it suits your needs in current form, then fine. Otherwise uninstall it and move on.

Why would you want to hide it? It is possible, but pointless in my opinion.

Thanks for the changes list. You should definitely include it in your addon description.

Just a bunch of commented code removed.
Removed docking options, since I could not figure why the heck the window does not position correctly.
Updated Ace2 libraries.

First, thanks for your addon. It's currently the official raid blessings too for my guild

Some of my pallies are requesting an option to hide PP's interface... AFAIK there is no such option yet, right ? Do you think you could add it ?

By the way, why is the /pp command gone ? I like it much better than the red/green dot to show the window...

There should not be any activity if you're not a paladin.. except when someone joins/leaves the raid and the like.
I haven't notices any spikes and when I'm playing a paladin.
Yeah, disregard what I said about my mage. It's now only showing the anchors when I play my mage. The massive lag spikes are gone as well, so it's working like it should. Thanks.

I also noticed massive lag spikes when I raid with my mage. I think it has to do with it being enabled (for the mage) because the spikes go away as soon as I disable PP.
Also, would like to request a growth feature to grow up or grow down from the anchor. I like to place PallyPower in the upper left part of my UI, so having it grow down would make it easier since I don't need to readjust it to save space.

Sweet. I will look forward to using it tonight when I get home from work.

Thanks Aznamir and keep up the good work on this addon.

Thanks

Should work fine after that.
Actually, I have been updating as the versions go. And I just wiped my wtf folder from the WoW 2.0. I usually am waiting on wowinterface for the admins to approve your files to download the newest one.

I will be trying out 2.00.39 tonight to see if there is any difference. But I had some people in the raid last night complaining about the time that the Fly-outs were shown for and they had never used PP before so it was a fresh install of 2.00.37 for them.
