    Cartographer is a modular, lightweight, and efficient framework for manipulation of the world map.

    • Battlegrounds : allows viewing of battlegrounds outside of the zone.
    • Coordinates : adds coordinates to the bottom of the world map of the player and the cursor.
    • Foglight : Shows unexplored areas on the map. replacement for MozzFullWorldMap or Unexplorer. Much more efficient, though.
    • Group Colors : turns all your party's and your raid's POIs into circles colored based on class, and shows a number on them based on their raid group.
    • Guild Positions : show all guild members that also have Cartographer.
    • Instance Loot : shows loot tables when you click a boss note
    • Instance Maps : shows maps of instances.
    • Instance Notes : adds boss notes and such to instance maps.
    • Look 'n' Feel : allows you to change the transparency, position, and scale of the world map.
    • Notes : lets you put notes on the map, similar to MapNotes.
    • POI : store notes that city guards point you to.
    • Professions : automatically tracks herbs, minerals, and treasure.
    • Waypoints : allow you to make waypoints and have a big arrow point the way.
    • Zone Info : on hovering over a zone, it will show the levels of the zone, the instances in the zone, their levels, and the number of men the instance is made for (e.g. 5-man, 40-man).

    Change computer
    ~Hey~
    So i just got a brand new computer.. put all of my addons on it and i had a problem. On my old computer i put markers for all of the quest i did. I want that on my new computer. I moved all of the Cartographer folders but it didnt help. Any help on this would be great.

    The version of Cartographer here is old and moldy! Pay no attention to the bug reports you see.

    Cartographer Map Menu
    I had a problem with Cartographer's dropdown menu (it just plainly didn't work), so after extensive () searching and reading, I found Ace Updater, downloaded it, installed it, ran it and.... it got fixed!

    I'm guessing it works for other kinds of problems and Ace add-ons, too, so, if you need help, you should try this first =P

    I am having a problem with Cartographer Import, it does not seem to be importing my gatherer data. It also seems like the data is possibly being reset. When looking at the options for cartographer in the map screen I do not see an option that allows me to import data like there used to be with meta map. Any help given would be great.

    Also is there a function in Cartographer that will allow you to also see unexplored areas like there is with meta? I have explored everything with my main, but my wife loves that feature as she gets lost easily.

    Transparency Question
    I'm trying to change the transparency for Cartographer so that the map is shown and not the tan area of the map, like the second screenshot. When I change the transparency it fades the whole map. Where is th option to fade the background area?

    yes I can't belive i finally got cartographer up again, yeah its from wowace.com go to files and you'll find it. my eyes were so happy to see an instance map that didnt look like someone shot it! xD

    Well, finally somebody posted something useful here! I thought Cartographer was dead. It is a useless website that doesn't include the link to where you can ACTUALLY GET THE FILE YOU WANT!

    It's too bad... This mod was great, but it's not being updated. I suggest MetaMap to everyone else that is unable to get cartographer to work properly anymore...

    The only thing I liked in Cartographer over MetaMap is the gathering icons and the way they would show on the minimap... Everything else looks better and looks more "finished" and fine-tuned in MetaMap... it's a much cleaner mod.

    multiple map 0.o
    this has been happening for a while and i've yet to find out how to fix it. i keep having a problem when i hit M the map opens fine, no problems....but when i hit M again it opens up a semi-transparent map, then it toggles between the 2 maps

    yes im suspecting a previous patch messed it up but the instance maps are no longer working. oh and you have top press load out of date addons

    I downloaded and intalled this yesterday. My addon manager shows this addon as "out of date" and it does not appear to be working a all. Is it the case that the current version of this addon does not work there the current version of WOW?
