== Installation ==

# Open the archive with your favorite archive program (winzip, winrar).
# Extract the contents to WorldofWarcraft\Interface\Addons folder.

== Note ==

If you would like to send me your ag_UnitFrames layout file for inclusion in this addon, you may do so by sending your .lua file (and any font files) in a Zip to bell_nathan at hotmail dot com with "aUF_Layouts" in the subject.

If YOUR layout is already included in this addon and YOU do NOT wish it to be included, send an email to bell_nathan at hotmail dot com with "aUF_Layouts" in the subject and the name of YOUR layout in the body.

== Known Issues ==

* dissappearing class text Fixed, awaiting feedback
Sometimes a layout fails to show class text for a frame, believed to be random.
Reason is unknown, believed to be incorrect formating in the layout's table definition
Workaround - switch the "bugged" frame's layout to any other layout then back to desired layout (suggest using ABF for reseting)

* Text fields not updating
If a layout uses OverrideTag's for a text field, that element will not update automaticly when selecting a new layout.
Workaround - after selecting the desired layout, use the ag_UnitFrames menu to "Hide Frame" and then "Show Frame" to force an update. If it still refuses to update, then use /rl to reload your interface.

Hmm..no, theres no other steps that I know of. Do you have any minimap icon addons? Maybe that is messing with ag_UnitFrames minimap icon, keeping it from showing.

There are some slash commands in agUF that might help.

/aguf minimapAttach
This will toggle showing of the agUF minimap icon

/aguf icon
This will toggle showing the FuBar icon for agUF (but if you dont see it listed in the FuBar menu......)

/aguf text
This will toggle showing the FuBar text for agUF (but if you dont see it listed in the FuBar menu......)

Nope, no dice. Other than the standard install the folder into the addons directory, am I missing a step? Alright, I checked this out, myself.. I found something odd in the code, you have a little square box next to the x. Like...

Yeah.. I figured out what I was doing wrong.

For some reason I put the font file in the wrong folder. I have no idea why I did that.

so, anyway.. after removing that box, I went into the game and recieved no more errors, however my font didnt seem to be showing up very good in this layout. I may have to try a different one, myself. or learn to code in lua and make a layout

Yes it is hard coded, using the OverrideTag in the layout file.
I assume you are talking about the player frame showing the current hp / max hp in the right corner. That frame does have one more unused text field for that paticular layout. The layout could be changed as you request but would detract from the orginal design of the frame.

If you like, I could alter the file for you and email you a copy for personal use, but if ag_UnitFrames changes how layouts work or how they are defined it will more than likely break your version.

Ive talked to ag about the OverrideTag and how it functions. It may change in the near future.

Yes, this is possible but requires some minor changes to the yaABF.lua file.

First, you need to put your Avqest.ttf file in the aUF_Layouts Fonts folder
WorldofWarcraft\Interface\AddOns\aUF_Layouts\Fonts

Then open yaABF.lua for editing.

Change any instance of
Code:
Font = "Interface\\AddOns\\aUF_Layouts\\Fonts\\yabf.ttf",
to
Code:
Font = "Interface\\AddOns\\aUF_Layouts\\Fonts\\Avqest.ttf",
There should be six lines you will need to change.

Caith Layout

Mulesh, thank you for your work, especially porting a Caith type layout. I do have a problem where the "smart" health option doesn't work. Is that hard coded? Is it possible to have it show up on the health bar itself (to the left for example), while having the absolute health show up as is?

It is possible, yes. But it is something that must be coded within ag_UnitFrames. The layout files currently have no control.

I suggest looking here for more information. This request has been made before and the author has said they plan to impliment this feature soon.

Static portraits

Is it possible to change to the 'standard' blizzard portraits that aren't 3d and animated? I find the animation a distraction, but I have a hard time remembering which party member is which without the portrait.
