Yes once I return from my business trip this coming weekend. Aren't I the lucky one to have a patch released during one of only two weeks I'm away each year?

No any other plugin, that deal with realm name, calling GetRealmName() more than once per session.
I checked on this and found the following in our package:

TitanPanel : 1 call (all local)
TitanUtils : 1 call (all local)
TitanClock : 3 calls (all local)
TitanGold : 7 calls (6 local)

As TitanGold was once TitanGoldTracker and developed independently, I'm not sure why it has so many references but I will be checking on it. Same with TitanClock which is actually entirely our fault as we've "owned" that one for a great many years.

I know I may sound like a moron, but I tried replacing the variables like you said and Titan still doesn't work. I am not sure what I did wrong, but if you could give me more instructions as to what I should be doing, that would be awesome. I am not code savvy, so please be as specific as possible. Thanks!!
Look up Titan Panel on Curse.com and check the comments section. It's all explained there.

Same here. I disabled all the Titan Panel addons and it still wouldn't load. I got a message that the server name was nil.

I am having the same issue. I can't get Titan Panel to work at all and it removes itself from my UI like I never had the add-on.

Actually, that's the way that library is written. Those are actually "widgets" but rather than being in a "widgets" folder, they duplicated the library name. Weird.
Many libraries have a shipping variant as standalone addons with the same name, that only include the library. It's normal. Makes things easier. More portable.
The problem, I think, lies in packager, or the way package is laid or desribed for assembly. But I'm not familiar with your packaging process to point a finger.
Either way, it's a minor annoyance, and could be disregarded, if can't be easily solved.

Cleaned up the layout for the libraries removing duplicates and standardizing on a single location without nested folders.
Doesn't sound like it is done.
