SixUI

SixUI's goal is to provide a clean and consistent design for Blizzard's frames and all of its supported AddOns. It uses pixel-perfect borders at all UI scales and screen sizes. The default layout focuses on healing with an MMO mouse, with the main focal point during raid combat being the lower central area of the screen and featuring action bars resembling a Razer Naga. Less important information like Chat, Minimap, and Skada is placed in the upper outside area of the screen to reduce distraction and maximize the visibility of the raid environment.

Instructions

- Install SixUI, all recommended AddOns, and any suggested AddOns using your preferred AddOn manager.
- Log in to your character.

Display Usage

Friends and Guild

- Click a player to whisper.
- Middle-click to show or hide all broadcasts.
- Right-click to open their menu.
- Shift-click to perform a /who query.
- Control-click to set or copy their note.
- Alt-click to invite or request to join.
- Click your broadcast or GMOTD to set or copy it.

Durability

- Shift-click an item to link it.
- Shift-right-click to view its socket interface.

Currency

- Shift-click to link a currency.
- Control-click to mark as unused.

History

- Click to reply.
- Shift-click to perform a /who query.
- Control-click to delete.

FAQ

Q: How can I update SixUI?
A: You can update SixUI by using any AddOn manager that supports the CurseForge API. If your AddOn manager does not detect SixUI, you may need to install it manually.

Q: How can I move or resize my raid frames?
A: To move or resize your raid frames, go to SixUI > Raid Frames and customize the position and size of your raid frames based on the group size.

Q: How can I adjust the visibility of my action bars?
A: You can adjust the visibility of your action bars by going to SixUI > Action Bars and modifying or deleting the state text for each action bar you want to adjust.

Q: How can I turn off sounds for new whispers and guild messages?
A: To turn off sounds for new whispers and guild messages, go to SixUI > Miscellaneous > Chat Frame and disable the Play Sounds for New Whispers and Guild Messages option.

Q: How can I turn off SixUI’s borders on WeakAuras?
A: To turn off SixUI's borders on WeakAuras, go to SixUI > Miscellaneous > WeakAuras and disable the Enabled option.

Q: How can I add third-party plugins to the chat frame and minimap?
A: SixUI now supports LibDataBroker. To add third-party plugins, go to SixUI > Displays and configure them there.

Q: How can I add custom categories to the friends tooltip?
A: To add custom categories to the friends tooltip, type a category name inside parentheses in a friend's note. For example, "(Keystones)" or "Ben (Keystones)".

I can totally agree on you with this, Im using sixui as I like the way it is aligned. I only find the chat a bit to big, with the bar below it.

The latest release has a narrower chat box, wider and shorter Skada windows, and hides Bazooka Bar #1 during combat. If you want to further this, you could configure Bazooka Bar #1 to hide when out of combat as well.

Khurune A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 20 Uploads: 0	I like this but I need to move the bars around a wee bit ( need few more visable buttons for my DPS bindings ) Can't find any addon thats creating these boxes that are locking the bars in place, tryed using bartender to move things around, but these seem to be lua coded, any chance of adding an ingame option to allow resizing of the boxes in future ?

What are the odds of someone taking this and making a dps focused ui suite in the same style? I'm especially fond of the font and how clean the player and target frames etc. look.

Excellent UI Think there is a bug however with the Glyph screen - I can click the glyph and the it highlights the majors like normal however won't allow it to be clicked.... What UI runs the skins on the glyph page? Cheers Dean

I noticed I no longer have raids in the ingame calendar. I disabled addon after addon to find out which one was causing it, it seems to be somewhere in the SixUi main addon. Maybe you can have a look at this in the future as I am not very much of a programmer

I am glad you are enjoying the user interface. Have you checked the "Filters" option at the top right of the calendar?

The latest version of the user interface (r96 and above) should provide proper solution your issue.

There are no AddOns directly modifying the glyphs frame. Please let me know if the issue persists with the latest version (r96 and above).

I rechecked, the filters have no effect on it. To further clarify the situation, im missing the planned raids which I'm invited for. I am not missing resets or lockouts.

When I disable SixUi and log in, They reappear in my calendar.

I don't use this particular UI, but just looking at the included addons Bazooka is the only one I see that could interfere with events on your calendar, either disable or go into the bazooka settings and make sure it isn't grabbing event info to show on a bar, been ages since I've used Bazooka so not sure where to look specifically.

Moveanything is included to handle the placement of bliz frames, things like action bars and unit frames can all be moved/edited to suit your needs, bartender settings are accessed via /bt and for the unit frames /suf, party/raid frames are probably handled by Vuhdo, /vuhdo opt nothing is ever written in stone when it comes to addons, tinker and tweak away
