LUI v2211 Dragonflight 10.0.2 Edition, with new versioning


Important:
- For technical support please go to the LUI Discord Server

To access the Twitter integration stuff, either disable the Chat module or type /share

If you are doing a new install and you see that the frames are overlapping, or unaligned, you need to move the frames yourself:
Chat (BottomLeft): Go over it and right click on "General" tab of the chat frame, click Unlock Window and drag the tab around until you have the frame in a position you like.
Omen (MiddleLeft): Type "/omen config" (without quotes) and uncheck Lock Omen, drag it around, once you're done, check Lock Omen again.
Recount (MiddleRight) Type "/recount config" (without quotes) and go to Window and uncheck Lock Window. Move it around, and lock it back up when you're done. You're free to re-enable the Report, File, Config icons if you want.
Raid (BottomRight): Type "/lui", go in Unitframes and change the Raid settings. Then move the lone raid frame with your name around. You may need to reload UI for changes to apply (Fix pending)

UI Elements:
- New texture for the infotext bar at the top. This one is much much larger. There should be no differences for people using small resolutions (up to 1680x1050) and should come as a nice feature for people using larger ones (1920x1020) or even have dual/triple monitor setups.
- You can now attach the Raid Texture Panel to Blizzard's default raid frames by using the dropdown menu.

Unitframes:
- Vengeance has been updated again.
- Added Firelands Stuff to Raid Debuffs Icons, if you are using the LUI raid frames instead of Grid.
- Fixed a few issues with Health and Power Updates.
- If a boss has an Alternate Power, it will be displayed in place of the power bar. An example would be Onyxia and her Electrical Charge bar.
- Fixed some issues with the Reputation and Experience bars.

Infotext:
- Fixed the faction logo for BattleNet Friends. So now you can tell your friends are being traitors and will be marked with traitorous logos next to their opposite-faction characters.

Fader:

Chat:
- Potentially fixed an error that would appear on extremely rare cases, and would end up disappearing after the ui is reloaded. Written as "potentially" due to the extremely rare and probably unreproducible nature of said error.

Extra Modules:
- There was a screw up in the 3.5.1 release that caused the Interrupt and Merchant module (after following instructions) to still not work. This has been fixed.
- Along the lines, the Merchant module has been rewritten to fixes any errors that caused its exclusion in the first place.
- Some options of the Merchant module (such as the Item Quality) may have been reset as a result of this.

Addon Support:
- Added fix for Recount having huge font unless modified. You no longer need to modify Recount to have LUI's intended font size.
- You can now choose the font size you want for Recount under the options - General > Addons

Unitframes:
- Fixed an issue with the unitframes when they were disabled.
- The Player XP and Rep Bar should now come in front of the Health/Mana Text when mouse is hovered.
- Fixed an issue with Unitframes Layouts causing havoc under certain situations
- The Swing Timer and Vengeance Bars have been updated.

InfoText:

Extra Modules:
- Remove the Merchant extra module from the basic package because it is not handled by anyone on the dev team, and it is causing quite a few errors to many people.
- For LUI to load extra modules, you need to move the Extras.Xml file out of the modules folder (next to the LUI.xml), this was done to prevent your Extras.xml file from being overwritten if you were to update LUI.
- For those who had a working Merchant module and want to continue using them, just move the Extras.xml file out of the modules folder.

LUI v3.5
---------------------
Unitframes

The LUI Unitframe is now embed with the LUI addon, no more troubles with oUF not being loaded on first install, bugging the whole process. (Somehow, i think someone will still manage it)
The Unitframes have been improved alot in terms of performance, and lots of bugs were fixed.
Options have been added to Import and Export new unitframes setups, as well as being able to switch between various setups without much hassle! Import a layout, or exporting one, may or may not cause severe lag.
Added an Alternative Power Bar, used by Blizzard for many raiding encounters.
Arena Frames were added, which include frames for your opponents, their pets and their targets.
Added Heal Predictions.
BossTarget Frames added, but disabled by default.
New Raid Frames have been added, in case you do not wish to use Grid or similar addons. Take note those are somewhat experimental for now.
Unitframes now uses the same raid icons textures as the nameplates, because those are 20% cooler.


DataText

DataText has been improved alot. Efficiency and performance went up to eleven.
Now have two more info text bars. Along with having things in the Top Left and Top Right, you can now have datatexts in the Bottom left and Bottom Right.
Removed most of the UI Reloads required when enabling / disabling things.
Most option changes are now instantaneous.
New entries: Currency, DualSpec and Instance Info datatexts.
Added option to choose if you want infotext to work during combat or not.
Added option to display Home or World Latency in the bar, or both.
Added option to display your combined gold on the server, or just the current toon's gold.
Left-Clicking on the Gold will now switch between server gold and toon gold. Instead of opening the bags.
Fixed the infamous INVITE PENDING issue with the calendar...again. Blame Blizzard for having buggy API, not us.


Bags

Fixed some other bugs that prevented the bags or bank from correctly updating.
Added the Sort Button fix.


Misc.

Blizzard Errors not disabled by default anymore. This should reduce confusion by alot.
Updated the ColorPicker to Ace3, no more Ace2 libraries!
Updated and Improved the AutoAccept Invites function.
Added the Merchant and Hix_Interrupter into the main UI. Mostly because of the cooked version in fact. Their original authors will still have to update them.

to make a second sidebar you must know how they work.
its like this:

Onload: Hide Sidebar
Onclick Open: Show Sidebar, Hide OpenButton
Onclick Close: Hide Sidebar, Show OpenButton

this is the easiest way but your sidebar will not be working while you are in combat.

Onload: SetSideBarAlpha to 0
OnClick Open: SetSideBarAlpha to 1 and Hide OpenButton
OnClick Close: SetSideBarAlpha to 0 and Show OpenButton

so... this will work... BUT you will be able to click your sidebar while its closed because an Alpha Value of 0 doesnt mean its not there anymore... its just invisible... so to prevent you from clicking while alphaValue is 0 we create a invisible BLOCKpanel... :-)

OnLoad: SetSideBarAlpha to 0 and Show BlockPanel
OnClick Open: SetSideBarAlpha to 1 and Hide OpenButton + Hide BlockPanel
OnClick Close: SetSideBarAlpha to 0 and Show OpenButton + Show BlockPanel

the BlockPanel is a complete transparent, invisible panel with the width and the height of your bartender bar... the FrameStrata of this Panel is HIGHER than the FrameStrata of your Bartender Bar and the panel will intercept Mouseclicks... so if the panel is shown.. you are not able to click into your bartender bar.

This Panel at the Screenshot looks like this BlockPanel... check if you set Border and Texture to None... and Backgroundcolor to transparent and so on...

To help you with your LUA error i have to know what lines of code are in "bars_left_close_hover_OnLoad"...

PallyPowerAnchor:Hide() /Pally Power ausblenden

Mach dir mit kgpanels ( /kgpanels config ) einen hübschen button.. oder kopier dir meinen und pack unter OnClick halt den dementsprechenden befehl rein...

du kannst für PallyPower auch ein Hübsches BackgroundPanel samt Rahmen erstellen das dann halt als Ankerpunkt "PallyPowerAnchor" hat... der Fantasie ist da keine Grenzen gesetzt...

vllt auch ganz nett ist das Addon "Broker_PallyPower" zu finden bei Curse:
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...allypower.aspx

Um Broker Addons darzustellen braucht man ein BrokerDisplay Addon.. welches bei LUI im Lieferumfang mit dabei ist...names StatBlockCore... also check mal ob du das aktiviert hast oder schau im Extras Ordner nach.
Alles so weit so gut, macro war n1 hilfe nun folgendes:

PallyPowerAnchor ist nur der Punkt Links zum bewegen von pp oder in den optionen zu kommen das blöde Programm ist aufgeteilt um pallypower auszublenden muss der Script so aussehen

Mein Problem liegt aber jetzt da drinn das
wenn eine Klasse nicht dabei ist
das Openframe genau so gross ist wenn alle Klassen dabei wären.

Also wie könnte ich es hinbekommen das sich mein Openframe mitverändert.

Meine Idee war 15 kleine panels zu erstellen
und sie halt je name dahinter legen also 1bis 15"bars"
aber wie kriege ich es hin das diese nicht angezeigt werden wenn die jeweilige pallypower bar nicht da ist

I dont understand this..

I am 100% I'm doing all the steps correctly. I download the addons, backup my old folders, put new folders in, rename the account/server/char and make sure the addon box is checked i go ingame and type /reflux switch LUI .. and my wow looks like goes through the standard load screen and nothing happens.. all the addons are still in the same place? s/s bellow.. Please help me i really want to use this addon


also i noticed my mouse speed has dropped now in WoW .. is that normal?

When you did the backup, did you just made a "copy of" folders and then overwrote folders with the LUI ones?
You need to delete the WTF and Interface folders to make it work or else addons and other things may interrupt the process.

erstmal - sehr schönes ui. ich habe aber ne frage und zwar wie kann man seine "eigenen debuffs auf dem ziel" (bspw flammenschock als schami auf dem boss) sehen? hab ich einfach was übersehen oder gibts da keine lösung für?

der filter im target pitbull layout unter auren sollte eigentlich so eingestellt sein, dass man nur die eigenen debuffs sieht. außerdem sollte dir fortExorcist wohl auch ne anzeige dafür geben...

ansonsten kannst ja an den einstellungen in pitbull ein herumspielen.
dürft keine probs geben. stell es dir einfach so ein, wie du es gerne hättest.

I download the addons, backup my old folders, put new folders in, rename the account/server/char and make sure the addon box is checked i go ingame and type /reflux switch LUI .. and my wow looks like goes through the standard load screen and nothing happens.. all the addons are still in the same place? s/s bellow.. Please help me i really want to use this addon

also i noticed my mouse speed has dropped now in WoW .. is that normal?

you definitely made something wrong.

the mouse speed changed because you are using my config.cfg... so there will be my graphic, userinterface und mouse settings loaded.

wenn du ne dynamische höhe haben willst dann kannst entweder wie gesagt 15 panels machen und jedem einzlenen panel nen anderen Anchor verpassen.. z.b. BackgroundPanel6 hat als Ankerpunkt: PallyPowerC6
Ist die Class6 nicht in der Gruppe/Raid wird PallyPowerC6 nicht angezeigt, somit ist das Panel automatisch ebenfalls nicht sichtbar, da seine Abhängikeit, sein Anker nicht sichtbar ist.

du solltest halt dann auch überlegen wie der schließen button sein soll... wenn der auch dynamisch sein soll dann müsstest das wohl grundlegend umdenken und eher jede menge if statements einbauen...

z.b. mach in OnLoad folgende events:
self:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_LOGIN")
self:RegisterEvent("PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED")
self:RegisterEvent("RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE")

und pack in OnEvent dann sowas rein:

local height = 600 // min-height

if PallyPowerC6:IsShown() then
height = height + 100
end

if PallyPowerC7:IsShown() then
height = height + 100
end

local panel1 = kgPanels:FetchFrame("pp_bg")
panel1:SetHeight(height)

sowas in der art müsste bestimmt machbar sein... ansonsten einfach ein wenig grübeln, da gibs bestimmt noch jede menge andere lösungswege...

EDIT: Der ParentFrame von PallyPower heist "PallyPowerFrame"
hab mich schon gewundert... diese 15 Panels MÜSSEN nen Anker haben...
die Frage war nur ob der auch benannt war oder nicht.

von daher kannst auch einfach 1 backgroundpanel machen mit anker auf "PallyPowerFrame" und bei den events dann vllt mal sowas probieren:

local height = PallyPowerFrame:GetHeight()
local panel1 = kgPanels:FetchFrame("pp_bg")
panel1:SetHeight(height)

das prob ist, dass dieser frame wohl eher nur als anker fungiert und seine höhe daher nicht der sichtbaren höhe von pallypower entsprechen dürfte...

naja lösungsansätze hast ja genug.. viel spaß beim rumtüfteln :-)

Hey Loui, great UI, thanks for sharing

Unfortunately I can't use it on my PC (yet) because there is no 1920x1200 version included
Is there a chance that you add support for that resolution? Plus, is there an ETA?

If you don't add that resolution in the forseeable future I'll have to mess around with that myself and I'm pretty sure that the result won't be as quarter as good as yours would be

Only 11 buttons by default?

I need 12 buttons per bar for my setup. I went into to bartender to extend the buttons from 11 to 12 but the bars are tied to the frame, when I tried to center the now longer bar it all went to hell =D

How can I extend the length of the panel behind the bars to accommodate the 12 buttons and have it re-center?
