Threatrack

Version: 0.0.55
by: haggen [More]

Threatrack continually scans for hostile player activity around you, informing whenever it can, know who and how many are there.

You don't need to do anything. **Threatrack** just sits on the top part of your screen, ever watchful. Whenever an enemy player presence is detected, a picture of their Class will appear, along with their level, if the information is either available or can be guessed. If you move your cursor over the picture a tooltip will appear with further information, such as the player's name and Race.

When there're too many players, it'll collapse into a stacked mode where it'll only show one picture for each Class detected, and the tooltip will now display a list of players.

After a while with no further activity, their presence is considered stale and the corresponding pictures are removed from the screen.

You can find more information on GitHub.

Currently it doesn't, but it might in the future. Personally I made it because I find Spy ugly and it had features I didn't liked/used.

If you liked Threatrack but wished it had feature x, y, and z please let me know, it'll help drive my work on the add-on.

Ultimately you should use the add-on that best suits you.

Release 0.0.55 just added the option to move it around. You simply drag it. Let me know how it suits you.
It works great except I have to relocate it every time I log in is there anyway to keep it where I leave it?
If you use Titan Panel he's the culprit. I opened a ticked with them but I'm still waiting for it to be fixed. Try disabling Titan Panel, moving the frame to where you want it and then re-enabling Titan Panel. Some people reported it worked.
Oh I don't use Titan Panel I use Elvui but I might try the disable addon thing

Can you confirm if you were using version 0.0.36 and **NOT** version 0.0.33? Cause it was an issue that I fixed just a couple of hours ago.

Also thanks for reporting!
I was most definitely using probably your very first release. I sort by New and when I saw it to up I tried it.
I've been traveling since but I return home in a few days and I'm eager to give this a shot again. Thanks for the updates!

Release 0.0.55 just added the option to drag the frame around, plus you can right-click and select a smaller size option. Let me know how it works for you.

Hey, thanks for getting in touch!

I'm seeing to it as a priority right now. You'll be able to move it and scale it.

Hey, thanks for getting in touch!

There's no interface for configuration as of yet, but you can change the scale by typing in Chat:

Lua Code:
  1. /run Threatrack:SetScale(0.8)

Replace 0.8 with a value you like.

The position part is trickier though. Could you elaborate on why you need to scale/move it? Cases like this help me design the best solutions and prioritize features.

Thanks again!
