DaedhirUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.2 (Release 10)
by: Daedhir [More]

DaedhirUI 3.2 for World of Warcraft 4.3

This version is a compatibility update. Many addons have been updated since the last version, so hopefully everything will work now.
This UI is designed for Widescreen resolutions.

For those people upgrading from an older version of the UI, it is recommended that you do a clean install. Many configuration changes have been made to make the UI elements more cohesive, and I have switched addons for some functions.

I have made some small modifications to the layout of some addons: SCT, SexyMap, and Dominos. These modifications are either to make the mods easier to configure or to allow them to fit in with the other UI elements in a cleaner way.

I recommend not using any sort of automatic addon updating. If you do
update any addons, you should back up the old version and make sure the
new one functions correctly before deleting the old version. Most should be easy to update, except for the three I mentioned. (Note that the Curse client does handle modified addons fairly intelligently, so you can try to use that. Use at your own risk, however.)

Please see the INSTALL.txt file included to begin installation.

Please leave any feedback on my blog. You can find it here.

Thanks to Curse, CurseForge, WoWAce.com, and WoWInterface for hosting
all of these great addons (and this UI.)

Thanks also to the authors of World of Warcraft Programming. You can
find lots of developer resources on wowprogramming.com.

I don't take donations, but in-game gold is always welcome. Send all gifts to Daedhir on Duskwood, US.

1.3: Updated AddOns, minor release.

1.2: complete UI overhaul. Reinstallation is recommended.

1.1: updated some addons, modified the unit frame layout to be more aesthetically pleasing. Added a couple of addons and switched from eepanels2 to kgpanels.

1.0: many updated mods, a few mod changes to enhance stability, some layout changes to make things snappy.

I'm planning to keep the bars in the corner. And with Grid there's no overlap problem. Up to you which you prefer to use though, obviously.
Excellent, I'll enjoy the Grid then

Only one thing I've noticed so far, the bags on the left side of the screen overlap the default raid config/slide out bar. Are you planning on moving them? For now I've just hidden the UI panel & disabled the bag & game menu panels in Dominos, and that works fine...but just a heads up! Thanks!!

Well, that's easy to change in the PitBull4 options.

Glad you like it.

You really should try some kgpanel/graphic modding tutorials. I'd certainly visit your blog to learn the basics of panel design and building. After seeing how much of the UI was art panel (I was convinced the UI frames were skinned by Pitbull itself!), I was blown away. Excellent work.
Is the Kgpanel art still working for you on the current patch? I downloaded and installed this addon set after the 3.3.3 patch and have not been able to get any of the Kgpanels to display.

What do I need to do to get the art to show?

Where was the position of it configured from? I am running at 1920x1080 and had to move most of the kgpanels stuff. I also added a fourth row to the console. I use the razer naga mouse I liked the 3x4 grid better. So now I have the 3x4 grid and 4 bars. Again, thanks for the basis of this UI.

I know you can move the chat and the buttons themselves, I would like to move up them up so the fit within the outlines.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
Try the kgPanels options by typing /kgpanels config in the chat window.

Did you set the UI scale to be the same as mine? That would cause them to be misaligned.

Yeah, sorry, that was an oversight on my part.

Go into the Pitbull4 config, by typing /pb4 in the chat box.

Then choose the "Target" layout. Then click on the "Indicators" tab. You should see the combo points there. Enable it. This might not be in the optimal place. You can set the pb4 config mode to "party" which will show all the frames. Then you can configure the combo points indicator to be where you'd like.

I plan to upload an update soon that addresses this problem.
