    TipTac for Classic + TBC (quickfix by DaMaGepy)
    Mouseover ToolTip addon, highly configurable what how and where to display in the tooltips. Took a while to fix because the retail verion had a weird bug displaying (not displaying) player data plus guildinfo randomly.

    To open config window: /tiptac

    I am not the author, I just modified/updated it to work in Classic, if someone else or the author uploads an official/better version then I'll delete this.
    I only tested for a while, I think I found/fixed all error but some may still occur, if that happens then pls report them here or ingame (ClassicPvP): Magepy / Gepy

    - I've added an optional namechange feature (for streamers), you can edit the TipTac\FakeNames.lua
    - ADDED "/tip" options: General / Name Type: To hide or display PvP rank after the name or to use number instead... server, pvprank and guild rank are darker gray
    - ADDED at Layout: my personal layout style (DaMaGepy) as I'm using it

    Hopefully will work in prepatch and TBC, I'll update if needed

    I can't change Backdrop-settings in wow classic bc. For example I try to change Border Texture in config and it keeps the default border.

    I've tried to reset addOn settings by deleting savedvariables but it does not help.
    Is this something that you can fix?

    It works in TBC, haven't noticed errors so far, but it seems to ignore the color for backdrop

    I was having this same issue and despite being a long time TipTac user I started looking for another tooltip addon to serve my needs. Came across your post and decided to dig a bit to see if I could figure out the issue. Turns out its Leatrix Plus addon that was resetting the tooltip size. I had an option under /ltp -> Interface -> Enhanced Tooltip option. Toggling this off caused TipTac to retain its size now. Figured Id let yall know.

    Does anyone know why or how to disable the addon from posting "Fake-names loaded: 16" from getting posted to the chat window on login / reload?

    Not sure what option this is tied to or why it's posting it - but would appreciate it if someone knew! Thanks!

    I just tried it and it holds for me, also tried to reloaded/relog and the scale worked fine. Maybe another addon forces the tooltip scaling to 1.0 overriding tiptac? Try to run tiptac only to see if scaling still "bugged"

    Issues with Guild Roster Manager
    Hey, I don't know if this is fixable or not due to mouseovers being dumb in Classic WoW, but I'm having issues with this add-on and Guild Roster Manager. When I hover over guild members in the guild list, the Guild Roster Manager mouseover doesn't show up. Is it possible to disable TipTac temporarily when mousing over a guild member in the guild roster? Or something so this doesn't break? I thought i'd try here first but let me know if you think I should reach out to the GRM peeps

    Added this option to the /tiptac
    General / Name Type / Use PvP Rank

    I also added 2 other style, displaying title in gray, and also the ranknumber, and the server also in gray

    Can you make it so character panel items tool tip isn't right on top of the item?
    I cant see what I wanna trade the item out for.
    Maybe make an option to anchor that differently.

    I haven't experienced it, but I'll keep it torned on and will see if happens for me, so I can fix it. Until then, do not use it
