I don't think any indoor areas show up if you lower the alpha on the minimap :/

Not even sure what the capture bar does, but it doesn't seem to appear.

Iron Forge doesn't show up unless you have it set to .9 fade out or higher.

Wouldn't mind using this mod, but it needs a few updates and a mail icon of some kind.

Awesome

This is perfect for hunters, exactly what I was looking for. Being able to see players vs mobs via a big red blip is just amazing.

Is there anyway to make tracking show even when you don't mouseover?
I love the look of this but I just can stand the thought of having to mouseover it all the time while mining.

Yes. My result was that it only updated X coord but not Y coord data, and didn't always update the X coordinate. I assumed this was due to the field values not being sync'd up once you move the map with your mouse. I'd also tried moving the cursor focus to other fields, then back.

To be clear, it's only an issue when you're trying to get it setup and positioned. I don't worry about it now that I've got it where I want it to be.

On my feature request, I got one step closer... I found the one line in the code that disabled the mail icon. So I'm playing with the ugly huge mail icon atm. Perhaps I'll figure out how to apply art or textures to represent an incoming email.

Looked good enough to swap out my existing minimap, and give Radar the prime real estate on my UI (bottom center).

Feedback:
I couldn't drag it around in small increments without it jumping a few pixels. It wasn't exactly like a 'snap-to-grid' type effect (which probably would have worked fine). Hard to describe. Not a huge issue, but it extended the setup time.

I then tried entering the values directly into the provided X and Y offset fields, and noticed that I had to exit out of the configuration and then go back in to see the change/update take effect, or select a different Attachment Point from the pull-down list and then immediately select the original attachment point. Not a huge issue, but it was counter-intuitive and extended the setup time.

The two issues together just made it feel a bit klunky and unpolished.

On the plus side, Radar looks good. I think it's worth giving feedback in the hopes to see it made even better.

Feature Request:
Email indicator. Specifically, an email indicator that matched the capture bar. So, a short little arc of a circle around the minimap border that appeared in some subtle color when a game email has arrived. This is kind of a big thing for me. I don't think the default mail icon would look right at all - which is almost certainly why it's not there now. But a little colored arc that can be positioned somewhere around the circumference would be nice. I can get by without the other clicky icons, except for the mail indicator.

By far the best minimap addon in existence!

One feature I find lacking that if added would make this addon absolutely perfect would be the ability to change the opacity of the circular overlay.

Check the attached image for more information about the configuration.

The tracking text can be moved so it won't get overlapped, hidden text takes no space and if you want an icon for your tracking I would recommend using sldt.

Variables are saved this way so you can have diffrent settings for each character, there are other ways that makes it easier to copy settings between characters but I'm to lazy for that.

Good idea, but ... config - where?
I can't understand, what "default configuration options" means.
Standard Blizzard "Interface" options menu? Nothing there.

Also tracking text getting overlapped by minimap buttons. I'd prefer tracking icon, even if you hate it. It's very informative itself and taking less space than text.

I can't get it to show Ironforge map.

And settings are stored per character. Why?

Indeed it does, tho I wont be using it... would look way out of place with the rest of my ui.

If I decide to redo my ui tho, this will be the first thing i get.

Re: Re: No negative values for tracking text?

no you can't set it to negative values, I tried making it that way but I just couldn't get it to work. If the text is attached to the bottom the y value for the track text will be negative.

If you really have to set them to negative values do like this:

/script radar.x = -10

x can ofcourse be changed to y, ty, tp, and all of the other values that you can set with the /radar command.

reload the ui to update the changes if you changed things that way.
