MeltFace Reborn v0.34 ** New Resolution **

Version: v0.34
by: shyce [More]

MeltFace Reborn v0.4 - Coming soon.
Like this? Click 'My Favorite' ->
Let me know if I can port this to your resolution in the next version.
1920x1080, 1680x1050, 1440x900, 1360x768, and 1280x1024.

Video of 0.32 <-- A couple hotfixes behind but I was still doing the editing, nothing great but it shows the UI in action.

This is a complete overhaul of MeltFace Reborn v0.21 -- You will need to perform a fresh installation.

Installation
1) Backup your Interface and WTF directory.

2) Extract the folders & files to your World of Warcraft installation directory.
a. WTF, Interface, and Fonts folders are included and should be placed in the main WoW directory.
b. The folder labeled "WTF (YYYYxZZZZ)" that corresponds to your resolution needs to be renamed "WTF".
c. You'll need to browse the WTF\Account folder and change ACCOUNTNAME to your account name in caps.
d. Now go into that folder and change "Server Name Here" to your server.
e. Finally enter the server folder and change "CharacterName" to your Character's name.
3) DONT DO ANYTHING but type(in chat): /reflux switch shyui

Please consider a donation if you like this UI!

Hotfix Notes v0.31-v0.34
-New Resolution: 1440x900 resolution has an aspect ratio of 1.6, as does 1680x1050. Therefore, after testing the profile for 1440x900 for all addons, it also works perfectly. Enjoy!
-Updated TipTac to match interface style.
-Added Blessing of Might to buff identification panel.
-Updated DogTags for universal identification of dead, enemy, friendly, offline, and player targets to adjust accordingly per frame.
-Huge update in aesthetics between unit frames. Updated SBF to match new unit frame shades.
-Fixed PitBull UnitFrame issue with confusion between party members & party pets.
-Fixed a PitBull UnitFrame Ascending problem with party members vs party pets.
-Fixed default Aloft configuration showing friendly nameplates and not enemy namesplates.
-Fixed an oversight in DogTags on unit frames, causing them to not displaying missing health properly for bosses.

Release Notes v0.3
-Added BigRed.
-Replaced AutoProfitX2 with SellJunk.
-Replaced AuctionLite with Auctionator for performance.
-Replaced Better Inbox with Postal for performance.
-Updated Aloft, DBM, ImprovedMerchant, Mapster, Opie, OmniCC and TipTac.
-Removed Power Auras Classic for Power Auras (Dual Spec) version and added high-res graphics pack.
-Added Questhelper, Lightheaded, Gathermate.
-The following addons are disabled by default: XPBarNone, Questhelper, Lightheaded, Gathermate, and Gladius. This change was made based on situational user preferences.
-Replaced RedRange with Buttonrange for performance.
-Cracked open GIMP and touched up textures that had some ugly edges that made skinning with kgPanels a little odd.
-Fixed scaling issues between resolutions by comparing resolutions using window mode. There shouldn't be problems with insanely small text anymore. Removed secondary fonts folder because I believe I nailed it this time.
-Redesigned Pitbull4 windows from top to bottom and incorporated a lot of neat things. You'll see what I mean!
-Added a ton of fonts & textures for easier user customization.
-Changed the way SBF deals with target debuffs. If you'd like to see all buffs/debuffs on a target, remove the filter on "target list" with (/sbf options) "my" and change it to blacklist instead of whitelist.
-Huge improvements on addon positioning and behavior between all resolutions.
-Video coming soon, editing in Sony Vegas now!

Things coming in 0.4
-I need ideas! Otherwise 0.3 may be the final version until a new blizzard patch breaks this glorious interface.

AddOns

Issues
- None yet.

If you like my compilation, feel free to send comments to [email protected] or donate on WoWInterface. A ton of hours went into creating this interface.

-Removed SLDT_Experience addon.

v0.2
-Added two new resolutions: 1680x1050, 1360x768, and 1280x1024.
-To take advantage of either new resolution, simply rename the appropriote "WTF (YYYYxZZZZ)" folder to "WTF". Then proceed with normal installation.

v0.1 -- Renamed, thus version has started over.
-Incorporated MeltFace graphics (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7336-MeltFace.html)
-Rearranged UI elements & aesthetics to complement.
-Fixed grid problems.
-Incorporated DBM & Aloft for raid goodness.
-Incorporated Gladius for PVP goodness.
-Added full screen glow & heartbeat addons for general leet sauce.
-Most elements are now anchored to the appropriate counterpart.
-Target now has a max buff/debuff list of 10 -- was eating too much space.
-Changed from icons to bars and replaced ElkanosBuffBars with SatrinaBuffFrames
-Changed default textures to better match class colors & fit in with new graphics.

v1.2
-Fixed default tiptac problems.
-Fixed default dominos problems.
-Switched to reflux design.
-Set redundent combat log behind main chat.
-Replaced ag_unitframes with pitbull4 for options.
-Replaced recount with skada.
-Replaced fubar & mods with sldatatext.
-Centered ui elements for (hopefully) compatibility with other resolutions... I'll keep working on this.
-Removed tons of junk addons.
-Many many more...

Hehe ohwell we cant win em all..

Im somehow happy for your sake anyways i think.. not alot of people can impletement the KYD in todays life so kudos to you =)

I did try remix but it failed me so im working on my own stuff atm.

I will however most likely spam you private messages about the LUA code since i basicly fail at it more or less.

Enjoy life, eat some cookies, play some wow and prosper haha.

Personally i liked DXE alot better but somehow i fail at sorting the bars/textures to my liking and i thought since youve got more skills at coding and general layout management (obviously or i woulda made my own UI instead of stealing yours )

As far as debuffs go raidwise if you could somehow implement the need-to-have debuffs in the same way you implemented the buffsystem in the 0.34v. I remember you having bufftext for PWF, Motw, kings and stuff like that, so basicly what im wondering is if you could possibly implement target debuffs like Totw, 3-5% crit, FF, Sunders and things like that in an equal sence since it would be alot easier then staring at debuff names and checking thru ALOT of them during a 25m raidboff if the one you need is up or not.

*writers cramp* well thats gonna have to be it for now.. it looks like a mess when i read it but hopefully you'll find some use of it i guess.

I have a slight memory of some random addon i once had called Ensidia Fails or something like it that posts a message in the chat when people fail to move out of the freaking fire and stuff like that aswell.. Might not be for everyone but for RL's it can help sort out the weeds in a wipefest evening and get people to shape up a bit more.

Enjoy life, eat apples, pay your bills.. and play more wow.
I've had a lot of issues with the reincarnation of the MeltFace Reborn version 0.4 candidate. The project is going to be dropped and I apologize to all the loyal fans. I was having a ton of issues with small fonts with a bad ui scale and it basically made me have to start from scratch with placement and graphics.

I stumbled on (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...rityUIV.2.html) --> Which is much easier on the eyes and is being customized to my display.

Wonderful to hear that youve gotten back into the game and started raiding a bit more again, Im still using your old 0.34 version but as you could predict ive changed quite a bit about it since the latest update but somehow it doesnt feel like a Shyce UI to me just yet.

Since i tend to go for the "easiest available" solution most of the times and ignore LUA codes all together i guess thats one of the main reasons i cant wait for someone that actually knows the code and knows his way around it to release a newer version so i can get back into serious action once again.

Raiding for me has been on and off more or less in the past week but i still have just about every possible scenario for testing purposes for when the release hits so there will be notes taken and posts added once its out i guess =)

Thx again for the wonderful job your pushing thru with this UI and to me it means alot as i tend to trash games that arent esteticly to my liking as per some of the newer released UIs out there.

Keep me posted when the update hits and i'll probably be the first to comment about it all as soon as i get a random spot open with one of my many roles in wow.

Your dedication is unparalleled! Wow man, thank you. I should be rolling again and have this beast updated by end-august or mid-september. I'm really eager to get back into designing interfaces and the website just reached milestone #1.

I'm so sorry, I simply cannot afford this game anymore until our website launches in August. This is assuming it will be a success. I've lost my job and unless someone wants to pay for my reactivation, I've got no money coming in as of yet.

Did I use broker2fubar? Pretty sure it's SLDataText. There aren't that many extensions for SLDT, AFAIK.

Yes, I'm still alive, recently got let go from my only source of income aside from side web-projects. Looking for employment at the moment, and have very little time for wow because of a large website I'm working on non-stop.

Can't rationalize re-activating my account at the moment because of this. If this website is successful, which I anticipate it will be, I should be good to start this project back up.

Don't think this is really related to the addon suite, but I cannot find answers anywhere else. Please help.
