CraftyAlts

Version: 1.1
by: nifty [More]

CraftyAlts is a simple add-on that gives you easy access to your alts professions.
Once in game, you can access your professions via a small black fly-out menu found on the left side of your screen.

The frame can be moved by holding down the shift key.

Note

Since profession links usually aren't available on login, you will most likely have to open a trade skill in order to update the buttons with the correct trade skill link.
You should only have to do this once per character.

Todo

  • Option panel to show/hide professions.

1.1
- Frame can now be moved by holding down the shift key
- Removed the tekKonfig panel, as it really wasn't needed

1.0.1
- WoW 4.0 fixes

Not working for me also. Tried it with two lvl 80 players and spent like two minutes looking for that "damn small" window.
Just a question, though. Is this compatible with locales other than enUS or enGB?
I use esES (Spanish client)

Is there a level requirement? When I log into my inscriber who is 80 and then log into my jewelcrafter who is 71 I cannot see the inscriber trade in CraftyAlts. When I was on my inscriber I was able to see the jewelcrafter skills.

Did you try this?

Have you found a way yet to have it movable?
Thank you.
I'm still working on making it movable. I've been a bit busy with other stuff since I released the addon. But hopefully I'll get it done in a not too distant future.

The addon doesn't require anything special to be done to function.

Do you have Lua errors displayed? If not, please try enabling it under Interface Options -> Help -> Display Lua Errors.
When you've done that, try doing a "/console reloadui". Does any errors pop up?

Maybe you're just not seeing the frame? Try sliding your curson along the left side of your screen. The frame should pop out when your cursor is on the middle of the left side of your screen.

Could you also check that the addon is actually loading. By clicking the "AddOns" button on the character pane, and see that the addon is checked to load.

Thanks.
