Zookii UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 5.3
by: zookii [More]

I have currently cancelled my subscription and do not know if I will return. Odds are I won't. Expect no more updates from me.

Installation instructions

Backup your existing Interface/Font/WTF folders first!!

I have gone to a 10 man raiding format now. I also have changed from a DK to a resto Shaman. The current UI is more setup for healing and Grid has been changed drastically. I have the old layout still available to download. Click here to download.

Once those folders are backed up then delete them out of the WoW folder.
Extract Zookii UI to a folder on your desktop.
Then copy the files into your WoW folder.
Rename ACCOUNTNAME, Servername, and Charactername to your account, server, and characters names.
Note they are case sensative so preserve the names as I typed them.

Make sure when loading into the game that you are in a supported resolution.
The UI supports standard wide screen formats in the 16:9 ratio.
IE 1280x800, 1440x900, or 1680x1050.
Please also note that you must have UI scaling set to the smallest scale, ie slide bar all the way to the left.

Make sure you load Out of Date addons when at the character selection screen.
Once in game make sure to load the default profiles for all addons.

Use the following to quickly setup the addons.
/reflux switch ZUI
/ctmod - Load profile from Blackhand - Zookii
*Note*
You may need to unlock and move Recount. I was never successful in getting it to save it's position.

Please also note it is very possible I missed a setup for an addon. Please feel free to comment if something is out of place or not setup correctly.

Can we get a screenshot of this in combat if possible? (like A quick heroic run?)

Type /sldt and go to Profiles and load the default. I will update the instructions page to cover this. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

And Bareno I'll try to get a SS this week in raid. I had one of an earlier version of the UI but I've changed several components since then. Should update it no later than Thursday with the SS.

Just installed this UI and gave it a test run though LFD... four questions.

1: How do you move the LFD button? Its too far down near the bottom of the minimap

2: On this screenshot, what is causing the weird pet health frame of our hunter to be in the middle of the screen?

3: In the same screenshot above, what is causing DXE to be there? It was in the middle of the screen my entirety of my run, had to move it to the top-left corner because I couldn't figure out a way to hide it...

4: And finally, what is causing that GD 'ping' noise I hear every 30 seconds while in combat? :X

Thanks in advance!

1. Squeenix does not allow you to "move" it. I have been thinking of finding another minimap mod just been lazy. ;-)

2. That was an error on my part. It's party pet in Pitbull. I fixed it after I updated last. I'll try to get a new version uploaded this weekend (maybe with a new minimap alternative).

3. Just shift click and drag it back down. Not sure why it repositioned itself though. I'll look into it myself.

4. It's possible it was ForteXorcist. I don't hear any "unusual" pings when I play.

Keep giving me feedback! Look for an update by Monday at the latest, I hope.

Yep, fixed the pet issue by tinkering around in pitbull config... thx, sure will Also was able to move the LFD button by using MoveAnything to nudge it up a bit to a more acceptable position...

Bareno I believe that "ping" noise you keep hearing is part of a Grid addon. When people get a debuff it will "ping" for a healer. Just disable all but Grid and see if that helps out.

edit: Or you can go into grid config and go to GridAlert and on the GridAlertDetox just turn the sound off. Also I need to add the config for DXE to get it setup back how my SS show. /dxe config and load the Zookii profile.

It should be as long as it follows the traditional 16:9 ratio. Try it out and let me know.

Hmmm... Definitely not what I uploaded. I'll resubmit the file when I get home this afternoon. I just downloaded it on my work computer and extracted the files. The WTF folder is completely missing. Expect a fix later today.

I use this UI for my druid as feral, priest as a healer, and my Pally as a tank. I use Healbot for healing but I have Clique and Grid incase you prefer that method. I also have a mage/rogue/hunter and it works for them as well. Initially was setup for my DK and as Unholy I had a perma pet making the UI very versatile for hunters as well. The only class I haven't really set it up for has been a shaman.
