Apologies for no change log. Too many things going on and not enough for sleep. Problem identified. Was actually rather easy to reproduced.
Hopefully this update fixes the issue. Seemed to be fine through Gundrak.

Which theme you using? What locations? I've been testing the hell out of this, and I can't reproduce .
(At the very least, SAYING that I haven't been able to reproduce the issue will cause it to occ...

I was able to reproduce the stuck nameplate in beta 5, although only once. it did seem far more frequent in beta 4. also beta 5 auto corrected itself when leaving combat. This may help isolate whey sometimes a plate gets stuck in a fixed point on screen because it was wiped once I left combat.

From what I could tell it was persistently throwing up the error, only on the target portrait. If I right clicked on my stock raid-styled party frames it would work.
And when I get home I'll dig through the lua, I know a bit of CSS, so I'm sure I can manage.

i understand i would go for performance too. i'll look into the tidy plates feature, i just really need at least something to indicate cause normally i use Battle ground targets however, its nice when im playing a melee char in the middle of a battle to see who's who.

I haven't encountered the bug you're describing, but I'm not playing very much, at the mo.
Beta 5 - just uploaded - may fix the issue. It reintroduces the hooking tested in Beta2.
beta 4 seems to have a new bug that's not often, but often enough to be annoying. A nameplate just gets perma stuck at a fixed location on scree...

I have a custom theme, but i also changed some other things inside the addon too, like i only show 4 debuff widgets and it's under the healthbar, also i changed to show health percents when the healbar is on 100% too, and some other stuff.
And i dont think it's a big change just to let the theme itself to anchor the icons and to hol...

On the target healthbars, I haven't found an option to move the positioning of the "Show Level" and "Optional Field Text"

Is it possible to add an option to show the targeted nameplate bigger than the others?
I think its called "bloat" in TidyPlates.
The highlight is nice but the blue glow is not enough for me see my target especially in pvp. :)

i kind of wish you had done a bugfix up of beta 1 problems before making beta 2 5.3 only version.
Or port the base performance change to the non beta version.?

Note: This version works fine on 5.2, it just doesn't have the Non-Target Castbar monitor, since that'll be native to 5.2.

I figured it out... comes from the new parenting, and the Aura widget being unable to figure it out.
Looks like you're running PlateBuffs... can you disable it, and retest?
