As a super quick and dirty fix, if you install the newest version and then delete rivetbarbg.blp from the \textures dir, you can get rid of that ugly grey background while leaving the bars themselves intact.

Using the latest version, when 'Show tracking' is checked under global options, and I change tracking modes by clicking on the icon, the icon does not update to the new type of tracking. I did not have this issue using previous versions. Apologies if this is already a known issue.
