I was able to solve the problem with the read-only description field. An update is online. @Lalaith: Could you please send me those lua errors you receive?

Oh dear. It'll be time to update the readme file... :o All flagRSP information is stored in the following files: This one stores all data that flagRSP collects from other players. It is used by all your characters. {WoW Installation Path}\WTF\Account\{Your account name}\SavedVariables\flagrsp.lua There exists a copy of this o...

atknapp, you should address this to the authors of Chatter. They should be able to tell you how to configure Chatter to ignore xtensiontooltip2.

Re: Question (or another suggestion? :-) )

There is currently no way to set the description via command line. The max. number of characters in the chat input field is limited, your description will usually not fit in there. Same goes with the macro editor. If you want to add this to Outfitter's lua files you could try it with FlagRSP:setDesc()

xtensionxtooltip2 is used by flagRSP (and other rp addons) to exchange character data. Your character name will appear in there necessarily if you use flagRSP. The command dimity in xtensionxtooltip2 provokes your flagRSP to send your character's description, because someone else wants to have it. By default, the channel xtens...

@Sjiulk: You probably installed an addon that alerts you if your name appears in any channel (e.g. Chatter). Try to exclude the channel xtensionxtooltip2 for this addon.

@Ture: flagRSP WotLK and flagRSP2 are, though their titles sound similar, two different addons. Choose whichever you like most. :)

@alchmo: I got it. This must have been a very old bug. It will be fixed in the next version. If you can't wait seeing your own prename (and those of the characters on your friendlist) in the tooltip, you can download a modified tooltip handler file here. Simply replace the old one.

I believe I found the bug that caused the error message while logging in. I fixed it in version 1.0.5 which should be available soon. @alchmo: Nevertheless, I don't have a clue why your prenames aren't visible. Is it only your own prename that is not shown or don't you see any prenames at all? If you click on a flagged target, do...

OfferingstoAnubis, since I am currently not able to reproduce this, could you do me a favour? Please locate the file flagrsp.toc in your installation folder. Alchmo, I am currently not able to reproduce your problem. The error you're seeing crops up when flagrsp reads its own settings. These settings should always be accessible - obviously they are not on your installation. Prenames should work as well. There is something odd with your error message. It says "flagRSP-1.0.4\flagRSP.lua"...

Hm, I've never seen this before and I am not able to reproduce this. I know there are some addons out there that will alert you if your character name appears in any channel. Are you sure you don't have one of those addons installed? Does this chat box message appear if flagRSP runs as the sole addon?

@Deantwo: Yes, this is a known bug. I hope I can supply a new version this weekend. You don’t have to be afraid of losing any character memos. It’s only the scroll bar that isn’t working anymore. I’ve seen this error in other addons as well; Blizzard must have changed something in scroll bars’ behavior....

@Azureglade: Hm, strange thing. Do you get any error messages? This may sound like one of those Blizzard community guys speaking: Please rename your WTF folder temporarily, start WoW and try again. @tareon: Have a look at Sec's post from 09-27-2008, topic #1 and my follow-up answer. Sec, thank you for your feedback. 1) Should be possible without too much effort. I'll put this on the todo list. 2) Free-floating minimap button: Good thing for people who turn their interface upside down. It's on the todo list as well. 3) framd.ttf is currently not in use. There were earlier versions (>2 years ago) that imp...
