It should work fine even without ElvUI. Most likely you didnt replaced all textures, at least with the grey regular-pack the lfg-frame should be skinned completely. Thank you for the texture replacements (grey version). The textures are pretty simple but literally the best loginscreen/characterframe replacements I found so far. I quick fixed some of them (borders/outlines) since they where a bit off with some icons/portraits. nice, ty!
