Well, I don't know how to treat it, but yes, disabling DS_Rep clear the problem.
Which is sad because it's the one of the most used modules for me.
For a thought: Bartender and X-Perl both could hook Rep changes to display Reputation bar.

It seems it's not possible to put X-Perl Target into protected mode.
And when grouping by name, the X-Perl Target's Target affected as well.
Also insane sctolling by half a page per wheel step basically denying any efficient use of the addon.
