Greetings, other guilds' chat lines have an additional space character while players from my own guild don't have this space character, like so: : Some text here. : Some other text here. Looking through the Lua files I didn't see any obvious reason for this to happen. How do I change the files so that this additional space...

Greetings, out of curiosity for any new versions I checked this page only to see that you'd stopped developing it. I decided to try fixing Trade Secretary: Ad Repeater and soon realized that the add-on actually worked. Don't ask me what was wrong when patch 3.1 went live - I can't tell. Important thing is, the add-on works. At lea...

How do I get reagent costs for other players' tradeskills?
Posted By: Contiki
Greetings, just recently I wanted to buy some engineering products. I'm not an engineer myself so I looked through other players' tradeskill windows and checked the materials I'd need to bring along. Since I had several different items in mind, I really missed the feature to create queues in these other players' tradeskill windows...

Greetings, I've tested the latest version and something's not quite right. Whispering someone a tradeskill link doesn't provoke the error it used to provoke with the previous version, so that's excellent. However, apparently the add-on doesn't send any ads whatsoever. I started off with the regular MyAds.lua file. Well, with up...

Greetings, up until patch 3.1 Trade Secretary: Ad Repeater worked flawlessly and I've come to like it. Since the patch the add-on has apparently become incompatible with the game itself. When I whisper someone the whisper seems to go through but my chat frame doesn't show it. Instead, this is the error it throws: Date: 2009-04-...

D'oh! I usually check for readme files. I don't know what has gotten into me this time. It's all there and it's perfectly documented. The %r substitution code works like a charm. Thanks for pointing it out ;-)

Greetings, I've just recently discovered MikScrollingBattleText and it gets the job done very smoothly. I like customizing every nook and cranny of the add-on. For my priest twink, I like it to notify me of fading buffs on party members and myself. I was wondering if I could create a trigger that not only says, "Someone in the...

How do I get all flight times to show?
Posted By: Contiki
Greetings, just recently I discovered InFlight and like its simplicity. However, on my German World of Warcraft client, some of the flight points don't have or don't show flight times. I've checked the routes and InFlight's files. For me playing a Horde character, I've seen routes in Kalimdor being affected. Flights to and from .....

Early tests indicate that the error has been fixed. Well, early as in, I logged into WoW ;-) Anyway, I couldn't reproduce the error anymore. If anything changes, I'll be back with more feedback. For now NotesUNeed works fine again. Thank you very much for the quick fix!

NotesUNeed apprently incompatible with WIM 3.0.6 and newer
Posted By: Contiki
Greetings, recently WoW Instant Messenger (WIM) 3.0.6 and shortly thereafter 3.0.7 were released. Up until version 3.0.5 WIM and NotesUNeed worked together flawlessly. According to the WIM changelog they've written and included a library they call LibChatHandler-1.0. Ever since the first WIM version wit that library was released,...

Greetings, I've got a suggestion for an additional filter that I miss quite frequently. I like to quest in batches: I accept all the quests I see and then complete each one of them. Once all the quests in my zone are done, I make a run to all NPCs and turn the quests in. Even if NPCs are on the way from one quest to another, I wal...

Thanks much for this second post-patch update, Anea. As far as I can tell WIM and SpamSentry work as good as before the patch.

Hi, Anea, thanks very much for the update. I couldn't reproduce the former error that occurred when I right-clicked a player name. Good one. However, the error related to WoW Instant Messenger remains. I'm not entirely sure whether it's something that broke within WIM or something that broke within SpamSentry. Here's the error...

I can confirm AnElk's errors. With patch 3.0.8 I've seen two types of them. One happens when I right-click a player for example in my friends list and select whisper. Here's the report that the Swatter add-on shows: Date: 2009-01-22 15:09:41 ID: 1 Error occured in: Global Count: 1 Message: ..\AddOns\SpamSentry\core.lua line 43...

That reminds me of sending in my own file, too. It's been a couple of days. I just realized that my file, too, is already at roughly 10 MiBytes which I was able to compress down to a little over 3 MiBytes for the mail attachment. Say, can I savely delete QuestHelper.lua once I've sent it to you via e-mail? Does the add-on automati...

Hi there, you wanted replies from users with false positives but I figured I'd give my feedback, too. Now that QuestHelper checks against the zone filter and hides the "hidden" hint if that filter's active, it works like a charm. No false positives here, just a working feature. Me likey. Yup, what Thortok said basically ;-) Here's how the filters are configured on my client.Enabled:Zone filter Level filter, set to +2DisabledDone filter Blocked filter Watched filter Also, I usually don't use solo mode, so technically group members' quests could show up on my quest tracker. The zone filter is usually the one respon...

Hi everyone, one of the more recent versions introduced the hint that "quests may be hidden" that shows up for example if the quest tracker doesn't display any quests. I'd like to be able to hide this message without hiding the whole quest tracker. I was looking for a slash command to do so but didn't find anything. How do I hi...

I've got the right file now, it has the MD5 checksum you posted. I've downloaded the ZIP archive again but it still contained two copies of LibStub.lua within the same folder. This time I just picked the smaller one - the one with the correct MD5 checksum. The other file is 51 lines long instead of 31. Here's a screenshot of Torto...

Version 2.0.1 apparently contains two copies of LibStub.lua - which is the right one?
Posted By: Contiki
Greetings, version 2.0.1 apparently contains the same file twice. Within the same folder. In \flagRSP2\libs\LibStub\ WinRAR reports two copies of LibStub.lua. One of them is 2,19 KiByte in size with a CRC32 checksum of BC865776, the other is 1,36 KiByte and has the checksum EEEAA3AE. The fact aside that I don't even know how th...
