The addon needs a choice of global/per character settings. The present method of creating profiles is awkward and as others have commented, anti-intuitive. Other than that I want you to know that since vanilla wow I have used Quartz and only JUST replaced it with your addon.

My husband and I have the same computers, same addons, same everything.
His NPC scan shows 5 rares in Twilight Highlands, Mine shows only 3!!!!!
WTF?
Emptied my creature and npc cache and lua files but still showing only 3. Needless to say, we are using the identical version.

TOOLTIP placement is horrible, inconsistent, all over the map.
Suddenly the tips no longer line up. One tip is right at the mouse, the eqc tip is on the other side of the screen opposite wherever the main tip is.
