In fact I wonder if it would help to bring the issue to attention on the official forums.
I brought the issue up with Cairenn before Blizzcon and she asked the Blizz developers directly about raid frame taint and the possibility of Blizz including an option in-game to hide the Raid frames. The devs said they'd look into it. Hehe....

It bases it's colors off of Blizzard's coloring of the nameplates, so I suspect a WoW bug/issue/strangeness.

Yeah, there's an ongoing bug with the site that seems to affect random uploads. Had some interface packages sustain 1000+ downloads a day for quite a while :p However, the mods are aware of it :)
