Re: patch 4.1 bugs
Posted By: Nechckn
Gadgetinker, Yeah, this is one thing that has yet to be resolved, but should be shortly. Folks may also see a problem with the "AskPrice" submodule as well. Neither issue should impact the main functions of the Suite, however. We should have a new version up on our main site, here, and at Curse relatively soon, though. BTW, have...

Gadgetinker, There was an issue with that example module, which has now been fixed in the beta/preview. Tried sending a reset message to your r****c******@yahoo account, see if that helps. If it does not arrive, then it is likely due to the yet-to-be-completed server migration. It is still using the original dataset, but will hop...

Radoznali, et al, Kindly remember that we are all volunteers in this project, and, although we do significant planning, when there are unexpected life events, such as catastrophic flooding, major illness, and simply time constraints, then some things wait. Most folks can understand that, those who cannot are welcome to make their o...

Re: CompactUI Request
Posted By: Nechckn
Carhith, It depends on why you like it, really. If you pay no attention to the percent column, Tekkub makes a nice AddOn that is based upon CompactUI, you will have to look, though, cannot recall the name off hand. If you use the percent column, then you need the other parts of Auctioneer in order to obtain and process the statist...

Sorry folks, real life comes in way before anything having to do with our AddOns. It will be out when it is ready. Smspencer, The db only contains the locations where nodes are able to spawn, not where they are active at a given time. The basic idea is that the db provides a sort of pathway that you can check and then the "tracking" comes in and shows those nodes that are active. Radoznali, Especially when there is what appears to be a decent, sound workaround for those who cannot live without the data, the evil real world takes precedence. As noted a couple days ago; we do hope to have something very soon, though. Happy Gatherering, Nikk  Originally posted by Radoznali still no update?:(

MiniStew, This is detailed in Q5a in the main Auctioneer FAQ, linked from the description- and at http://wiki.norganna.org/Auctioneer/FAQ , directly. Dayon, That is covered pretty extensively in the GathererDB comments; look for an update in the next few days to week and then try it. Gatherer, itself, should function just fine without it, though. Happy Gatherering, Nikk  Originally posted by Dayon I've gone and downloaded the most current mod and the most current datab...

Squiretoad, You are correct, they are aggragated, and when enough reports from across the community, realms/factions, et cetera come in, then new locations are added to the main DB. There are a number of folks who try to purposefully send in bogus data - and some who have technical issues that corrupts files, so that helps guard ag...

Jasmer, Actually, it would be. We have more than enough to do, otherwise, quite honestly. That said, we have tried working with some folks in the past and they only lasted for a couple of months before moving on- usually without any notice. Since we have been creating and supporting AddOns for years now, we usually prove to be qu...

Bluechipps, That is the point of the GathererDB_Wowhead, folks use the updater as they go about their usual business, and then it gets parsed out and updated. With the holiday, time has been short, but more will be enroute afterward. For now, Limi's version appears to fill the niche quite nicely. Happy Gatherering, Nikk ...

Lunyra, Gatherer does nothing with Fishing or Fish, nor with potions or, especially, shooting. Nachoss, The reasons were quite genuine and should be clear. The forums are at http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/index.php , simply pick a category and post. That way, folks can find whatever file, after ensuring that it is free from issues, and use it, get help installing, et cetera. Folks can add a link to a specific category/...

Folks, Please keep such discussions to either PMs or in a thread on the boards- thank you! Also, remember that you are downloading files from unknown sources, so be certain that your Antivirus/Phishing software is up to date- until the issue is worked out with the "official" version, a post for a file is fine, but any other questi...

Folks, Kindly bear with us as we try to get things a bit sorted, there seems to be some disconnect between what is requested, what comes in, and then what is included - so it will be a few days. No access to the game nor much of any time until about the middle of next week, so do not expect much before then. Still no idea what to...

Seraph_Six, Ah, could be - basically wanted to be sure that at least the data did import. The items that were returned can be seen in the file, sorted by area. Seraph_Six, It all depends on what is sent back to us. Seraph_Six, Appreicate your going through and noting them for didah, would only add that they are also included in our request for data to/from Wowhead. Now, it is a matter of the DB filling out from the front end, aka folks running the Wowhead Updater, and then it being included. Areas without information are not noted in the Gat...

LadyKayla, Do you mean that the progress bar hangs at 90% or that it completes? It should be fairly quick and that may be the last point noted before completion. If the bar appears, fills, and then disappears, that usually means the process completed. If the bar sits on the screen at 90%, then there is likely some file corruption,...

GathererDB_Wowhead for Cataclysm is released!

Folks, We appreciate the patience and hope that there is a bit more as more data is obtained in the coming weeks. As promised a few days ago, the data which is currently available has been included, but we still need much more. Please be sure to run the Wowhead client, it is available for MS Windows and OSX via http://www.wowhead....
