Alternative to SharedMedia?

Are there any addons out there that does the same as sharedmedia did back in the day? I can't add new textures to the current version of sharedmedia - or I forgot how to.

Look in the "SharedMedia" folder for the plain text file "INSTRUCTIONS for MyMedia.txt". Read the text file, and enjoy your new textures.
