Are you alright with retroactive participation in this thread? I'm approaching the last of my n^n birthdays (at least given current human lifespans), but I used to be a member of TPU :D

How'd you discover AddOns/Coding? Is this your first coding experience?

I'm trying to think... hmm... I've had a lot of background with HTML and Web Hosting with some of my friends. It was a little more than a year ago that I introduced myself to AddOn coding, though. I was intimidated by it, but pushed myself through it. It seemed like a really tough challenge, but I managed. I've still got a lot to learn, but it's allowed me to do something I love! I don't know for sure what I want to pursue as a major in college, but I'd love to pursue the Computer Science major as a whole. I love Web Coding and Administartion, Security, Gaming Work, really any programming :P

How about another question... Who here has a Computer Science major (or degree in that area)? Any specific colleges that are known for this study? Any tips/hints or anything on the major of study as a whole?

I'm under 20, my only previous coding experience was mucking about with html when I was 13 to make a simple website to host flash games to circumvent all the banned flash games at school.

As for College, I'm in the UK and I've just started Uni, went to open days for both Physics and Comp Sci and decided Physics just seemed more interesting, so I went with that and I'm loving it (hopefully I wont become a banker).

And eehm yeah, the hardest part ain't Lua(Lua is just like any other languages, the only difficult part is tables) but the WoW API because sometimes it just doesn't make sence.

I've got to get started on my own personal site... :)

I've known a lot of miners. Mostly coal. I'm more worried about protection from than for them.

Actually... most of the time that goes for minors too...

Well at this point I think of myself as having more than enough responsibility to know this myself. I think if I have come this far at WoWInterface, I don't consider myself a minor :)
