Paypal - Doesn't work like on the example page
 

OK...tried to set up a donation button per the instructions in the FAQ...but there is no simple number available in the code it spit back,
just a long encrypted sequence (Carriage returns inserted):

Clearly, the FAQ is either out of date, or something else is wrong. I can't just put [ paypal ] <All That Junk

Only the business and ... premium (I think it's called?) types of PayPal accounts have that number. If you have the regular PayPal account, you can link it to Pledgie and use that instead. (I thought we put that in the FAQ - is it not there?...)

The Faq looks more like an either/or thing to me...and it doesn't say you have to make a pledgie account if you don't get the full fledged pricy Paypal account...

Also...where in the FAQ for donations does it say how to apply your donation button to your downloads? That FAQ needs another section at the bottom, saying how to do this.

If you mean the overlay that pops up when someone downloads your addon, that is a section on the upload/update page below where you enter the description.

Yah, I found it eventually...but it wouldn't hurt to put it in the FAQ as the last step...heh.
