Minion doesn't work
 

I'm having a very strange minion problem.

I double click the icon and it brings up the java splash screen then comes up with an application can not launch box. Clicking ok will close it, clicking details causes java to freeze and I have to close it manually.

I have deleted all traces of minion and tried again. I have updated java. the error continues to happen.

No log file appears to have been created in minion's data directory and I'm unsure where java keeps it's logs.

Windows? Mac? Linux?

Windows Vista. (UAC is turned off)

Could be a relative of question #1 in here. I'd try those troubleshooting steps. If you've already reinstalled Java, did you try launching it from a batch file as shown?
