How to get itemid of pet cage from pet id
 

I'm having trouble with a couple of addons not working with battlepets, because they're classified as pets and not items, so the id I get returned is the pet id.

So, how do I get the item id of the pet cage based on the pet id?

The pet cage item ID is 82800. There's only one pet cage.

Thanks, I thought there was an item id for each caged pet to go along with the pet id, but that's not how it works.

I did manage to fix the problem I was having. It turned out to be simpler than I thought. It was just a logic oversight. :banana:
