UUmmm help?

Not sure if this has been addressed or even posted already, but...

Just downloaded the newest version of carb (Carbonite 4.033) but it's not showing up in my addons list for WoW. I made sure that it was going into the addons folder in WoW, but it's not showing...anyone else having this issue?

Did you remember to extract the four carbonite addon folders from the enclosing "carbonite 4.033" folder, so that it's the four folders at the root of the addons folder? (E.g.: /addons/carbonite, /addons/carbonite nodes...)

yep...and now I find out that it's not just carb that is doing it...bagnon and minimap button frame aren't showing up in the list either

What path are you installing in? Also, if you right click on the shortcut to WoW and select properties what does the 'target' file path say?

public\games\worldofwarcraft\interface\addons

Close Wow, rename the addons folder to '_addons' and launch Wow again. Do you see any addons now?

just renamed, checking now

Carb still isn't showing up in the list installed Bagnon and minimap button from wowinterface and they work now...but still no carb

If any addons are showing up after renaming your addons folder then that is not the folder Wow is using.

What path is your game shortcut (menu or desktop shortcut) pointing to? Right click it and select properties.

"C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Launcher.exe"

Haavok 01-05-11 12:57 PM

Then I think the folder being used by your addons should be:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons
