Sold by (who?)
 

Just recently started playing Cataclysm after a long broke following the release of Lich King.

Trying to get mods sorted out and I can't seem to find one that does the following:

Lists on the tooltip what crap is sold by what vendor.

EXAMPLE: If I hover over a Black Kingsnake on the Auction House, it will tell me its actually sold by Xan'Tish in Orgrimmar

There used to be a mod that did this, I just can't remember the name anymore.

There's several pet addons that do this. I'm not exactly sure what they are called, will re-edit my post once I find something though, just give me a few minutes <3

Does this handle Vendor recipes as well?

From what I can tell, I don't see a function for Recipes and/or Plans, but The Collector seems to have a few more functions then the other two. If anything you might want to try sending a PM to a couple of the authors and see if they might try to put them into the addon.

The Author's themselves probably used another addon as a guide and might have knowledge of what might have what you are looking for.

I normally just wowhead everything up for what I need, though I can understand the simplicity and ease that an addon would bring.

I believe it was Gazmik Fizzwidget that made the mod, but its not that website anymore, not even under the discontinued ones, so I am most likely wrong

I was going to gush about how soon this will be part of "mist of pandaria" but that's months away. sigh

I used Gup and really liked the tool tip that allowed you to know which mobs also dropped a pet. I haven't used it since I've gotten most of the pets and Blizzard updated the summon pet feature for zoning and flightplans. But I highly recommend it for research purposes.
